Growing up as a soulful, sultry-voiced Sicilian-white girl, her life took a vibrant turn when her mother married into a Colombian family, immersing her in a rich tapestry of Afro-Colombian heritage.
Embracing the diverse traditions around her, from the mouthwatering Afro-Colombian dishes to moving to the irresistible Afro rhythms of its music, little Nicolucha absorbed it all. She quickly learned how to speak Spanish as a child, seamlessly adapting to her new family’s traditions, sounds, and savoring flavors. It was during these formative years that her cousin affectionately named her “Nicolucha” – a name that stuck and later became the essence of her brand.
Nicolucha’s mission is more than offering spiritual products—it’s about providing meaningful tools and services that help people reconnect with their truth, intuition, and higher self. My name is Nicole, and I’m an intuitive healer, as well as the spiritual creator of Nicolucha’s Handmade With Love Spiritual Products and Shop. My business is the culmination of years of personal healing, ancestral connection, and spiritual devotion. It was born not from a business plan but from Spirit, guided by intuition, purpose, and a calling to serve others on their paths.
I entered this industry from a place of deep transformation. During my healing journey, I found myself searching for spiritual tools that were AUTHENTIC – items that were not mass-produced or trendy, but crafted with real care, sacred intention, and ancestral wisdom. When I couldn’t find what I was looking for, I began making them myself: intentional candles, lavish anointing oils, bath oils, and aura clearing rituals that were energetically potent and spiritually aligned.
Today, I offer a wide variety of handmade spiritual products, intuitive services, and sacred support for clients navigating their healing, awakening, and expansion. Can you share a story from your journey that illustrates your resilience?
One story that stands out is from the early days of Nicolucha’s Handmade with Love Spiritual Products and Shop. When I first started, I was building everything from scratch: my offerings, my client base, and my belief in myself as a spiritual entrepreneur. I didn’t have a business blueprint or investors – just my intuition, my healing gifts, and a vision I couldn’t ignore.
There was a moment where I was juggling so much – emotionally, financially, spiritually- and I questioned whether I could sustain this work. Sales were slow, I was exhausted, and I felt like I was pouring my soul into something that wasn’t yet being fully seen. But instead of giving up, I went deeper into my spiritual practice. I asked my ancestors and my guides for clarity. I trusted the process and kept showing up- one ritual, one product, one client at a time.
That resilience paid off. Over time, not only did my business grow, but I began attracting soulmate customers and clients, people who felt the energy behind my work and valued it. That experience taught me that building something sacred requires patience, faith, and a deep commitment to my purpose – even when the external results haven’t caught up yet.
Resilience, for me, has always meant coming back to my “Why”. It’s about trusting the divine timing of it all and remembering that this path is not just about business – it’s about legacy, healing, and devotion.
We often hear about learning lessons – but just as important is unlearning lessons. Have you ever had to unlearn a lesson?
One of the biggest lessons I had to unlearn was that success had to look a certain way- fast growth, constant visibility, and doing everything according to industry “rules.” In the beginning, I found myself feeling pressured to follow trends or push my brand in ways that didn’t feel authentic just to keep up with what I saw others doing in the spiritual or small business space.
But every time I stepped out of alignment to try to fit into someone else’s model, things didn’t flow. I felt disconnected from my work, and the magic of my offerings started to dim.
The turning point came when I reminded myself why I started Nicolucha’s Handmade with Love in the first place: to create from a place of love, prayer, and purpose, not hustle or comparison. I unlearned the belief that I needed to conform to be successful. Instead, I leaned deeper into my intuition, my ancestors, and my rhythm.
Now, I build my business in alignment with Spirit and flow, not pressure. That shift has brought me more peace, more fulfillment, and a deeper connection with my community.
The lesson? My path won’t look like anyone else’s – and that’s my greatest power!
