Nicolas, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. Can you take us back in time to the first dollar you earned as a creative – how did it happen? What’s the story?

Nicolas, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
I started as a photo assistant and makeup artist in Québec city after finishing my studies in photography there. then moved to mtl in 2004 were i still do perform. I am knowed here for my skills in hair and makeup. been doing it for the past 22 years. Me as a photographer happen only 4 years ago. very slowly. for my own pleasure. The keys of succes in this industry might be cliché but beeing our self is always a good start. Knowing your worth too. Beeing present on set. and always go for — no probleme only solution–. I am knowed for beeing a hard worker and i know how to elevate every member of my precious team. Team is everything. If you cant get along in your own home how can you be stable and efficient in front of your client. i like to think that i treat client the way i would like to be treated if i was them. polite. efficient. funny and playfull.
i am proud of beeing so indendent free regarding my creation. i do what i like, often with great humain and the mimimum of stress.
Do you think there is something that non-creatives might struggle to understand about your journey as a creative? Maybe you can shed some light?
They need to visualise our carrere and creation as if there were our children. it is as much important and precious for us. its a vocation. its a place to be sincere. a place were u are challenged in you head heart and body, just like having childs
What’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative in your experience?
again, very cliché but knowing that my art please the eyes of the ones who are capture in it make me feel good. because at the end, its a way a communicate. creating images that speak and resoneate in people head and heart mean to world to me.
