Alright, Nicolas thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. What do you think matters most in terms of achieving success?
To be successful in BUSINESS because being successful in life is a different thing, is like a recipe, one needs experience, determination, discipline, organization, and a clear objective. With those ingredients that recipe is going to create a successful dish in business! The rest is just maintaining and taking care of the business.
Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
I came to this country 14 years ago when I was 18 years old with little money. Now, I am 32 and have achieve three successful businesses, a house for my mother, a farm house for me and my wife, graduated colleague with zero debt, and have achieve a life of financial stability for me and my family. This was all achieve by investing in books, reading the knowledge of those who have done it and learning from them and pf course, apply it to my life.
How’d you meet your business partner?
One of my partners is my cousin. The thing that everyone should know about partners is that you have to be really clear at the beginning with them. Really clear on what you expect from them and what you can give to the partnership. Most problems in partnerships occur because nobody want to have that uncomfortable conversation, and then they struggle in the future creating problems or breaking the partnership. This also apply to relationships in life.
We’d love to hear the story of how you turned a side-hustle into a something much bigger.
My side hustle was bringing coffee from Colombia and selling it to fine dinning restaurants. I started doing this in my room in 2017, they it grow up so much that I occupied the whole garaje of my house. Few years later I was selling to multiple fine dinning restaurants, had a lot of money save, and this allowed me to open my first coffee shop on Smyrna Ga. And also allowed me to renovate a little poor school in Colombia where the children of the coffee agricultures study.
