Hi Nick, thanks for joining us today. Can you talk to us about how you learned to do what you do?

I think that some people are just meant to be musicians. Learning the craft comes with that. You have to be versatile. You just have to get out of your own way.

Nick, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?

I’m Nick James. I’m a composer and a singer in the Kansas city area. I’m dedicated to creating music that evokes a emotional response from my listeners. My music is a blend of styles with a focus on R & B, Hip Hop, and Pop. I create original compositions and perform them. I’m working on projects that are nearing completion that I cannot wait to share with the world. I believe that music is meant to be shared and that’s why I also release instrumentals on all streaming platforms for other musicians. I have a passion for performing and that is imbued into my Art. My Art is me and my experiences nothing more, nothing less.

What’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative in your experience?

For me the best part of of making music is seeing how it brings people together

Is there mission driving your creative journey?

My only goal is connect more with my audience. I want people to be able to relate to my stories and experiences and get comfort from that
