Alright, Nick thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Alright, so you had your idea and then what happened? Can you walk us through the story of how you went from just an idea to executing on the idea
The idea for my business had been simmering for years. Real estate had always fascinated me—how properties could hold both financial potential and the power to shape lives. In February 2024, I decided to turn that passion into action. I officially opened my company, driven by the vision of creating spaces that weren’t just properties but experiences.
Once I committed, the first challenge was to figure out where to start. I began by diving into research, scouring listings, running numbers, and understanding market trends. I wasn’t just looking for any property; I was looking for the right property—one that aligned with my vision and would be appealing to future guests. By June, after countless hours of due diligence, I found it: a single-family home with the potential to transform into a standout vacation rental.
Purchasing the property was an exhilarating moment, but the real work began after the keys were in my hands. The house needed more than just a coat of paint—it needed a complete makeover to truly shine. So, for a nonstop 24/7 the entire month of June-in the scorching Florida heat- I rolled up my sleeves, taking on a month-long renovation project. From redesigning interiors to coordinating contractors and suppliers, I oversaw every detail. It was a crash course in project management, problem-solving, and patience. There were unexpected delays and moments of doubt, but I stayed focused on the vision, knowing that every decision was building toward the final product.
By the end of June, the transformation was complete, and the property was ready to welcome guests. Launching the listing felt like the culmination of months of hard work, but it was just the beginning. I quickly learned that running a short-term rental is as much about hospitality as it is about real estate. I dedicated myself to ensuring every detail was perfect, from the booking process to the guest experience. I listened to feedback, refined operations, and found creative ways to stand out in a competitive market.
Looking back, the process of going from idea to execution was like building a foundation—one brick at a time. Each step, from incorporating my company to managing that first renovation, taught me something new and solidified my passion for this industry. It wasn’t always easy, but those challenges became stepping stones, pushing me to grow as an entrepreneur and shaping my approach to the business.
Now, as I oversee operations with my kick butt business partner (mom!), I’m constantly thinking about the next step: expanding the portfolio, elevating the guest experience, and continuing to turn ideas into reality. It’s been an incredible journey, and I’m just getting started.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.

How’d you meet your business partner?
My business partner is more than just my teammate—she’s my mom, my inspiration, and the strongest person I know. Watching her fight and survive cancer showed me what true grit and determination look like. She’s a fighter in every sense of the word, and she brings that same resilience and passion to everything we do together.
When we decided to combine work and family, we knew it wouldn’t always be easy, but we also knew that our bond was our greatest strength. We’ve built a relationship where we can rely on each other no matter what—whether it’s making big business decisions, brainstorming creative ideas, or simply being there on the tough days.
What makes our partnership special is the way we balance each other out. My mom brings incredible wisdom, life experience, and a calm perspective to the table, while I bring fresh energy, strategy, and a drive to innovate. Together, we’re showing that mixing work and family isn’t just possible—it can be a recipe for success.
At the core of our business is the shared belief that we’re building something bigger than just a portfolio of properties. We’re creating a legacy and setting an example of resilience, hard work, and overall standout quality for others to see. It’s about showing that no matter where you start or what challenges you face, with dedication and support, you can achieve amazing things.
Every day, I’m grateful to have my mom as my partner—not just in business, but in life. We count on each other, push each other to be better, and celebrate every win together, big or small. This journey has been incredible, and it’s even more meaningful because we’re doing it together.

How did you put together the initial capital you needed to start your business?
Funding my business was a journey of creativity, discipline, and taking calculated risks. For years, I had been saving intentionally, knowing that one day I’d have the opportunity to turn my vision into reality. But savings alone weren’t enough—it was about having the courage to leap into the unknown, despite the uncertainty, and doing it alongside my mom made all the difference.
We poured our blood, sweat, and tears into this venture—every dollar spent was backed by careful thought, grit, and resilience. Funding wasn’t just about the money; it was about committing fully to the process and refusing to cut corners.
We knew this wasn’t just about listing a property on a vacation rental marketplace. Anyone can do that. For us, it was about creating something meaningful, a space where people could connect, relax, and make memories. So we crafted our money spending strategy around creating that overall experience.
Taking this step wasn’t without risks, but with every investment—whether it was renovating our first property or fine-tuning the guest experience—we reminded ourselves that this was a craft, not just a business. It required passion, creativity, and a relentless commitment to excellence.
Starting this journey wasn’t easy, but having my mom as my partner made it possible. Together, we’ve faced challenges head-on, fueled by a shared determination to make this dream a reality. For us, funding wasn’t just a financial decision—it was an investment in ourselves, our vision, and the belief that hard work and resilience can turn dreams into something extraordinary.
