Nick & Ebony, appreciate you joining us today. We’d love to hear about when you first realized that you wanted to pursue a creative path professionally.

When we became parents of our 4 daughters and wanted to be involved in their daily lives and we wanted to raise them not the world. As soon as God showed us our true purpose and the gifts that He has given us we decided to take it seriously and establish our business, Amillion & 1 Photography & Video Imaging.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.

While going on a faith path to seek purpose in life, it led to photography, then to the Inspirational Alter-Ego Movement. Which is your testimony in a portrait. This work evolved into a book which explains a detailed journey of Ebony’s life in that season and how living in her purpose inspired others to do the same and led more overcomers to tell their stories within the book and photograph work. Our speciality is portraits, business branding & marketing, events and weddings. Through both photography and videography we focus on creating art that can reveal the true stories of our clients. We are most proud of keeping our foundation which is faith in God+purpose+consistency that was established in year 2014. Our goal is to continue to live in our purpose and inspire others to do the same through quality work and through community. We host a monthly youth workshop called Purpose+Photography geared to helping youth to identify their gift’s and talents early while learning the skill of photography.

What can society do to ensure an environment that’s helpful to artists and creatives?

Realize that our market is as important as any other market. Without photography and video imaging there would be no marketing content to market. Include these services in your fiscal budget as a priority, because without it customers can not relate to any company or support in revenue without the use of pictures and videos to advertise and market their products.

What’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative in your experience?

Freedom of our time, flexibility, and being able to spend time with our children on our own terms. And being able to choose projects that are purposeful and meaningful to our core values in life.
