We recently connected with Nia Resulidze and have shared our conversation below.
Hi Nia, thanks for joining us today. Let’s kick things off with your mission – what is it and what’s the story behind why it’s your mission?
For me, the mission of Startup Büro is deeply personal. Georgia’s entrepreneurial ecosystem is still young, and when I first started working in it, I saw both incredible potential and significant gaps – especially in access to knowledge, resources, and networks. Many talented people had great ideas, but lacked the right support to turn them into sustainable businesses.
Startup Büro was born out of a belief that entrepreneurship can transform communities and economies, but only if people are empowered with the right tools and connections. Our mission is to build a thriving, inclusive ecosystem where founders at all stages can find opportunities to grow – whether that’s through hackathons that spark ideas, accelerators that prepare them for investors, or networking events that connect them with partners.
It’s meaningful for me because I’ve seen the difference it makes. I’ve watched entrepreneurs go from an idea scribbled on paper to pitching to investors, launching products, and creating jobs. Those transformations remind me that building ecosystems isn’t just about business – it’s about enabling people to shape their own futures and, in turn, uplift their communities.

Nia, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
My name is Nia, and I’m the CEO of Startup Büro, a community-building organization in Georgia dedicated to supporting entrepreneurs and building a stronger, more connected business ecosystem. My journey here started when I was a first-year university student. I joined Startup Büro as an intern, curious about the world of entrepreneurship and how ideas become real businesses.
What began as a student internship turned into a career-defining path. Over the years, I learned every aspect of our work – from organizing grassroots community meetups to managing large-scale international conferences. I grew with the organization, taking on more responsibility each year, and for the past year, I’ve had the privilege of leading it as CEO.
Startup Büro provides programs and platforms that help entrepreneurs at every stage – hackathons to inspire fresh ideas, accelerators to prepare startups for investment, and industry-specific events to connect innovators with the right partners and markets. We solve a critical gap in our ecosystem: bringing together the people, resources, and opportunities that help good ideas grow into sustainable businesses.
What sets us apart is that we’re not just an event organizer; we’re an ecosystem builder. We connect local founders with global networks, design programs that respond to real market needs, and create spaces where collaboration and innovation thrive.
I’m most proud of watching people we’ve supported achieve milestones – securing their first funding, entering new markets, or hiring their first employees. Those moments are proof that building an ecosystem is really about building people’s confidence and capacity to create change.
If there’s one thing I’d want people to know about Startup Büro, it’s that we’re here for anyone who wants to take an idea and make it real and we believe that when our entrepreneurs thrive, our communities and our economy thrive with them.

What do you think helped you build your reputation within your market?
What’s helped Startup Büro build its reputation in Georgia’s market is our openness, approachability, and collaborative spirit. Georgia is a small market, and in such an environment, relationships matter more than anything. From the very beginning, we’ve made it a priority to work with everyone, from early-stage founders to established organizations, because we all share the same goal: growing the ecosystem.
We focus on building bridges and creating opportunities where people and ideas can connect. We’ve partnered with a wide range of stakeholders, always making space for new voices and perspectives. That consistency has built trust – people know that when Startup Büro is involved, it’s about collective progress and creating value for the whole community.
In a small market, your reputation travels fast, and ours has grown because genuine community building has always been at the heart of what we do.

How do you keep your team’s morale high?
At Startup Büro, we believe team morale starts with who you bring on board. We hire people who are as passionate about growth – both personal and community-wide – as we are. When everyone shares the same drive and purpose, it’s much easier to stay motivated, even during challenging projects.
We also focus on creating an environment where people feel trusted, valued, and heard. We give our team ownership over their work and the freedom to explore new ideas. We celebrate wins, big or small, and keep communication open so everyone feels part of the journey. Most importantly, we always connect our day-to-day work back to our mission – because knowing the impact we create keeps motivation and energy high
