We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Nia DennisNia Dennis a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Nia, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Almost all entrepreneurs have had to decide whether to start now or later? There are always pros and cons for waiting and so we’d love to hear what you think about your decision in retrospect. If you could go back in time, would you have started your business sooner, later or at the exact time you started?

The best thing about being an entrepreneur is that the show is yours! If you want to wake up one day and change your entire business you can. That’s kinda how it went for me. It was 2020 during covid, I was home, I was bored and I had an idea! I started selling purses with essentials in them like lipgloss, shades and more but one day God told me to close that business! I had crazy faith and changed my business from Stuffed by Nia to Styleswithnia. As of 2023 i’ve had over 230 customers. I don’t regret anything it all was a learning process and still is. But trust me you’ll know when it’s time!

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?

Styleswithnia is a virtual fashion styling business, meaning I don’t have to know you personally, see you in person or bother you until I send your looks to you! It’s convenient, it’s up to date and it’s not time consuming. You have a vacation or concert coming up, you want to step out the box but still keep your style. You can’t find these boots, you need some accessories to go with your outfit. That’s where I come in. I complete, I freestyle and I add life to your look!

Any advice for growing your clientele? What’s been most effective for you?

Mixing passion and determination together has been my key to success. My goal is to make my customers feel even more fly than they came to me! I get customers who have insecurities and don’t know how to dress comfortable to their body type. It brings me joy to know I can change their appearance and boost their ego!

Where do you think you get most of your clients from?

Social Media! You don’t have to pay someone to be your social media manager but you do need to stay on top of it. I’ve got sales from all over the world just by releasing quality content and going viral. All you need is quality and consistency!
