Alright, Neshanta thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. One of the toughest things about entrepreneurship is that there is almost always unexpected problems that come up – problems that you often can’t read about in advance, can’t prepare for, etc. Have you had such and experience and if so, can you tell us the story of one of those unexpected problems you’ve encountered?
One of the most unexpected experiences in my business was The beginning of the pandemic which began in 2020. This enabled me from moving forward with my hands on interaction with my customers and my pop up events which decreased my sales and my overall everyday agenda due to there being no contact. What allowed me to move forward was an idea to create a Podcast about food and different subjects in my local community. I reached out to the customers that I served such as Fox 2 news Saint Louis police department Saint Louis school districts and also government officials to interview them to talk about their experiences with leadership their favorite food and overall a snippet about their personal interest. This act has allowed me to engaged with a wider audience as well as beginning my journalism career with my podcasting platform that was created due to the unexpected experience with the covid 19 the pandemic. I truly found this to be a blessing because it allowed me to unpeel a layer of myself that I would not have done if my back wasn’t against the wall so everything that happens is for a reason and there is a blessing in every circumstance.
Neshanta , love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
