We were lucky to catch up with Nery Haro recently and have shared our conversation below.

Alright, Nery thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. So let’s jump to your mission – what’s the backstory behind how you developed the mission that drives your brand?

My mission is to become successful in every aspect of my life in order to be of more help to my community.

Nery, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?

Growing up in a single parent household, and being the eldest I was given the responsibility to care for my siblings. Cooking for them was one of those tasks and over time I learned and than realized I really enjoyed cooking for others.

I also been an entrepreneur for most of my life at 10 years old I would use my moms food stamps to buy candy and sale at school.

Growing up in the hood has definitely set me a part from the rest, I have a different appreciation to life and my grind and hustle is what I’ve learned from slanging in the streets.

I want to serve as an example of change and betterment, I want motivate and inspire people that may have the same upbringing or simply relate with my story.

We’d love to hear the story of how you built up your social media audience?

Attracting your tribe, I’ve always used social media to tell my story and my journey of building my business. Growing up I’ve always struggled to find myself and being ME. I’ve found myself and I’m unapologetically ME, and that’s the best way to attract followers/people will relate and support your work because is authentic.

Can you tell us the story behind how you met your business partner?

My business partner is one that I’ve met when we were both teenagers and now she’s my wife and without her i couldn’t be where I am now.
