We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Nazly De La Rosa a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Nazly, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. What sort of legacy are you hoping to build. What do you think people will say about you after you are gone, what do you hope to be remembered for?
One of the lessons you learn when becoming a coach is to start at the end with a client. This helps define and align the client’s goals with what they ultimately want to achieve. I use the same in my personal life, particularly when it comes to legacy. I want my legacy to be about giving it my all. I’d like for people to remember me and be inspired by my willingness to give my all to my life. I want to be remembered as fearless, faith-filled, and all-in!

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
I’m a Certified Life & Spiritual Coach, author and podcast host who helps ambitious women lead spiritual lives that help them succeed personally and professionally. I offer one-one-one coaching, group coaching and on-line courses – all of which teach women to be authentic and purpose-driven.
I started my business after 16 years of working in the publishing and real estate industries as a marketing director. During that time, I realized that I was most successful when I leaned into my faith, positive beliefs and energy work, but most of all when the goals I had aligned with my purpose. In my role now as owner and head coach of Believe It Life Coaching, I teach women to remove the clutter of goals and to become laser-focused on their legacy. My clients have gone on to leave toxic relationships, become authors, move across the country, and start their own businesses. We create their lives together with joy, faith and purpose at the forefront.
We often hear about learning lessons – but just as important is unlearning lessons. Have you ever had to unlearn a lesson?
I’ve learned that there are people who can focus on one thing and give it their all and there are people who need a variety of projects to feel fulfilled – and both are OK. We’ve heard the saying and the negative connotation associated with it: “a jack of all trades a master of none”. I took that to heart as a “jack of all trades” and thought of myself as less than worthy of success because I couldn’t be that committed to only one project. However, that is now a part of me that I love because I’ve learned that the ability to give focus to multiple projects at a time is one of my most powerful keys to success. So, if you’re a jack of all trades like me, lean into your multi-passionate abilities!

Any advice for growing your clientele? What’s been most effective for you?
Knowing what they want and that is always RESULTS! Sometimes we think our clients want to know the different techniques and tactics and methods we use, but they could care less. Honestly, what your clients want to know is what the final result will be of working with you. Focus on the results you create for clients and include it in all of your pitches, marketing and outreach. Then, of course, work your butt off and deliver the results! Results lead to reviews and referrals – and the rest is history.
