We were lucky to catch up with Nazareth Smith recently and have shared our conversation below.

Nazareth, appreciate you joining us today. We’d love to hear about a project that you’ve worked on that’s meant a lot to you.

The most meaningful project I’ve worked on to date is “Staple of Light”. This album is me, you….this album is us.
A journey through good and evil. Love and rage. I wanted the songs to hit hard when your in the car with your friends or all alone with your headphones. You know, when your all alone walking to school or work…the music just feels like you feel.

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?

I am free….But I’m tormented by my own thoughts. I’m happy…..but I’m sad. I’m with loved ones but I’m alone. I’m fire and water. Hot and wet……steamy. I serve God but I’m still a sinner. I save money….I’m a big spender. Diamond tennis chains on my body. My Ripped jeans with large graphic tees. I make music for me and we’re all the same. Legends.

: Is there a particular goal or mission driving your creative journey?

To bring inspiration and innovation to every body in the world. More Advance music/sounds. More advance clothing styles. More advanced visual entertainment. More advance ways of thinking. I inspire creativity.

Is there something you think non-creatives will struggle to understand about your journey as a creative? Maybe you can provide some insight – you never know who might benefit from the enlightenment.

Everything I do you might not understand. This is because I’m doing it for a higher power…..not man. Gods blessed me with the vision to control energy…like a shaman. I am the future. I believe Jesus Christ is the son of God. Follow me. I’ve been here before. Seen all the love seen all the hate. All the real all the fake. Made millions of dollars then saw the price of fame. Look the devil in his eye, pushed the metal to the grain.
