We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Naysha Clark a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Naysha, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. In our experience, overnight success is usually the result of years of hard work laying the foundation for success, but unfortunately, it’s exactly this part of the story that most of the media ignores. So, we’d appreciate if you could open up about your growth story and the nitty, gritty details that went into scaling up.
I scaled up by staying committed to growth, leveraging strategic relationships, and consistently reinvesting in myself and my business. When I first started in real estate, I was balancing a full-time job while working part-time in the industry. My relentless drive and faith pushed me to take that leap of faith, and once I did, I made sure I never looked back. Scaling up required discipline, consistency, and a willingness to step outside my comfort zone.
One of the biggest factors in my growth was **building a strong foundation**—I focused on mastering my craft, developing my skills, and ensuring I delivered exceptional service to my clients. By consistently going above and beyond, I earned trust, repeat business, and valuable referrals, which helped me grow organically.
As I gained traction, I knew I couldn’t do it alone, so I **built a team and leveraged support systems**. I surrounded myself with like-minded professionals, sought mentorship, and eventually transitioned from being just a real estate agent to becoming a trainer, coach, and broker in three states. Hiring the right people and delegating tasks allowed me to focus on higher-level strategies while ensuring my clients and business continued to thrive.
I also **invested heavily in personal and professional development**. Whether it was through coaching, networking, attending industry events, or continuously educating myself on market trends, I stayed ahead of the game. I understood that to grow, I had to evolve and position myself as a leader in the industry.
Marketing and branding played a huge role as well. I learned how to **leverage social media, content creation, and digital marketing** to expand my reach and attract the right clients. I didn’t just sell homes—I built a personal brand rooted in authenticity, education, and empowerment, making me a go-to resource for buyers, sellers, and other agents looking to grow.
Scaling up wasn’t overnight, and it wasn’t easy, but by staying consistent, taking risks, and being intentional about growth, I was able to expand beyond just selling homes. Now, I coach and mentor others, helping them scale their own success. My journey is a testament to what’s possible when you stay committed, serve with excellence, and believe in your own potential.

Naysha, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
My journey as a realtor, motivational speaker, and author has been shaped by both struggles and triumphs. Becoming a mother of three by the age of 20 and four by 26, I faced societal stigma that suggested I would never achieve anything meaningful. Instead of being defined by these challenges, I used them as motivation to rise above expectations. In 2007, with a strong background in sales and marketing, I ventured into the real estate industry. Over the next eight years, I gained invaluable experience in appraisals, BPOs, credit analysis, and foreclosures. Seeking a fresh start in 2015, I moved my family from Jacksonville, Florida, to what would become our new home in Atlanta, Georgia.
By 2018, with 11 years of real estate experience under my belt, I took a leap of faith and became a licensed real estate agent and member of the Atlanta Board of REALTORS®. Balancing a full-time job, I initially pursued real estate part-time. Through relentless determination, I closed over a million dollars’ worth of contracts within 30 days, earning the TCRG Rookie of the Year Award. Within five months, I left my job and embraced entrepreneurship full-time as a real estate agent.
My unwavering dedication to excellence has consistently made me The Cole Realty Group’s Top Producer, quarter after quarter. Starting as a rookie, I progressed to trainer and now proudly serve as a Real Estate Coach, Author, and Motivational Speaker. As a high-touch professional, I am passionate about delivering exceptional service to buyers and sellers, earning their trust, referrals, and repeat business. Recognized among the Top 5% producers for the Atlanta Board of REALTORS®, I firmly believe that true leadership begins with service. Today, as a licensed real estate broker in three states, I continue to broaden my reach and expertise to better serve my clients.
A pivotal part of my success is my incredibly supportive fiancé, who believed in me when I doubted myself. After sitting on my real estate license for three years, his persistent encouragement pushed me to finally step into the industry and pursue my passion. He’s my biggest cheerleader, always by my side with unwavering belief in my potential. His love, loyalty, and steadfast support inspire me daily to grow into the person God created me to be.
Three years ago, tragedy struck with the loss of my youngest son, a heartbreaking event that reignited my passion for inspiring others to fulfill their God-given potential. This pain led to the creation of the AEW Foundation for Fearless Change, a non-profit organization dedicated to combating gun violence and black-on-black crime. Additionally, I founded Her Grace In Motion, an organization designed to empower and uplift women, helping them walk boldly in their purpose and embrace their God-given destiny.
My passion for real estate and empowering others continues to drive me, much like a dream waiting to be realized. Every trial I’ve faced propels me forward, fueling my commitment to help others overcome their obstacles, achieve their fullest potential, and create meaningful change in their lives and communities.

Any stories or insights that might help us understand how you’ve built such a strong reputation?
Several key factors have shaped my reputation in my career. At the heart of it all is my unwavering commitment to delivering exceptional service and results in every real estate transaction. I treat my clients like family, ensuring they feel genuinely supported as I guide them to the closing table. By consistently exceeding expectations and going the extra mile, I’ve built trust and loyalty—so much so that my clients have affectionately named me “The Right Realtor.” This title is an honor, and I embrace it fully, striving to be the “right” agent for every person I serve.
For me, real estate is more than just a career—it’s a ministry. I believe every connection I make is part of a greater divine plan, and our interactions extend beyond simply buying a home. I don’t see the industry as oversaturated because I know that what God has for me is already mine. This faith fuels my passion and my commitment to serving with excellence, integrity, and heart.
Beyond real estate, my role as a motivational speaker and author allows me to connect with people on a deeply personal level. Sharing my journey—overcoming adversity as a teenage mother, breaking through societal expectations, and navigating personal loss—has inspired others to rise above their own challenges and chase their dreams with resilience.
My dedication to making a lasting impact extends beyond my career. Through initiatives like the AEW Foundation for Fearless Change and *Her Grace In Motion*, I am committed to uplifting others and fostering change in my community. By blending professional excellence, personal authenticity, and a heart for service, I’ve built a reputation that extends beyond real estate, making a meaningful difference in the lives of those I encounter.

Do you have any insights you can share related to maintaining high team morale?
Managing a team and maintaining high morale is all about creating a culture where people feel valued, supported, and motivated to give their best. I believe that leadership starts with leading by example—showing integrity, hard work, and a positive attitude sets the tone for the entire team. Clear and open communication is crucial, so I make sure my team always understands our goals, expectations, and the bigger vision we’re working toward. Transparency builds trust, and I encourage open dialogue where everyone feels comfortable sharing ideas, concerns, and feedback.
One of my biggest priorities is recognizing and appreciating my team’s efforts. People thrive when they feel seen and valued, so I make it a point to acknowledge achievements, celebrate milestones, and give credit where it’s due. Whether it’s a simple thank-you, a public shout-out, or incentives for outstanding work, these gestures keep morale high and show my team that their contributions matter. I also invest in their growth by providing mentorship, training opportunities, and clear pathways for advancement. When people see a future within the organization, they stay engaged and motivated to excel.
A positive work environment is just as important as productivity. I foster a culture where collaboration, respect, and teamwork are prioritized, and I address conflicts early to prevent negativity from spreading. Maintaining a healthy work-life balance is key as well—burnout leads to disengagement, so I encourage my team to take breaks, recharge, and set boundaries between work and personal life. Regular check-ins, both one-on-one and as a team, help me stay connected to their well-being, ensuring they feel supported both professionally and personally.
At the end of the day, I want my team to feel inspired, empowered, and excited about the work we do. I make it a point to bring energy, enthusiasm, and a sense of purpose into our daily efforts, keeping things fresh and engaging. Creating an environment where people love what they do isn’t just about results—it’s about building a team that’s committed, motivated, and truly invested in our shared success. When you pour into your team, they’ll pour back into the mission, and that’s how long-term success is built.
