Nayline, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
Hi, my name is Nayline Carrion, and I’m a young, full-time entrepreneur from Boston, MA. I decided to take the leap of faith and explore the entrepreneurship world back in 2016 after becoming a mom and not being completely happy with the corporate jobs I had in the past. My very first business was a party rental company called Party Perfect Rentals. I had this brilliant idea to buy inventory people needed for parties and multiply my income by renting them. I mean, after all, your inventory does not depreciate in value, right? You buy a couch at a set price rent it at 1/3 of the price for at least 3 times and you already have made your money back! That business was very profitable, but it took a lot of work, however. After that, I opened a wedding venue,” The Blanc” Modern Event Space, a med spa, retails, and now tapping into the beauty world, the fastest growing market! Specifically the nail art industry. One thing about me is that when I put my mind towards something, I get it done! My drive and determination are what make me successful before anything else. Maintaining organized and on top of things helps me juggle several businesses. My latest project, Naior B Nail Studio, is what I’m really excited about; I get to show my super feminine and fun side while still being the brains and creative director behind it all. Naior is a super trending and modern nail studio in the heart of Brighton/Boston. We will be setting trends and keeping up with the newest techniques. This is an all-pink studio decorated with art, super girly touches, Instagram-able corners, and more. We are creating a space where people can come and enjoy the ambiance while being serviced. We want you to feel like you’re inside a picture-perfect postcard. The menu will have everything from natural nail polish manicures, gel-x, structured dry manicures to luxury treatments using top designer products, perfect for a birthday gift! We have been working on this brand for almost two years now, and I’m super excited for this 2024 launch! 
We often hear about learning lessons – but just as important is unlearning lessons. Have you ever had to unlearn a lesson?
A lesson that I had to unlearn is : “helping people because you see potential in them”. I’d tell you, I have a heart of gold and it’s my natural instinct to want to help even if I wasn’t asked for help. I’ve gone through so many downfalls, business relationships, and heartbreaks in the past year, and I couldn’t figure out why I was going through certain things when all I did was help or want the best for others. Well, after all, I’ve learned a valuable lesson, ” you can’t help those that doesn’t want to help themselves” because it will cost you in the end. It costs your peace, mental health, money, and the list goes on. I always overly pour into anything I do and love. I truly want the best for people, and I think everyone is my friend at times, lol, but life has taught me that I’m expecting too much from individuals that don’t reciprocate that energy and that don’t see the best of themselves. Business or personal, my advice is: take care of yourself first other people’s happiness and success is not your responsibility!
