We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Navixha Bagga a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Alright, Navixha thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Can you talk to us about a project that’s meant a lot to you?
Women, through history to the present times, have affected an indelible and undeniable contribution to our success and growth – both at a personal level as well as the species, ‘mankind’. Yet, the recognition and respect for this immense contribution has been dimmed at the front row of the hero-spotlight zone. In the present age more that ever we see all around us and are forced to acknowledge just how much of a center-stage women have across the crosswalk of the socio-eco-political landscape. It is with this mission, I undertook organizing a women’s day event in March of 2022, with Senator Maria Collett as the guest of honor, called ‘Sidelines to Spotlight – the changing role of Women’. It was this event that sowed the seeds and germinated the idea of my biggest passion project to date – a 5K Saree Walk fundraiser, to celebrate women’s leadership and to raise funds for local women-centric charities! As India elected her 15th President, Draupadi Murmu – a woman of indigenous descent, clad in a saree, the women in Philadelphia, US deliver the first-ever Saree 5K in America (if not outside of India), on September 11th, 2022. If she can excel every walk of her life in a saree, she can walk in it too! ‘My Saree, My Story – Walking beyond Barriers!’, was aimed at demonstrating that there are truly no barriers or stereotypes that need prevent anyone from expressing and living their best version!

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers
Like almost anyone else, I wear many hats and live many roles in my life – and love every one of them (mostly 😊)! Professionally I work in the space of healthcare IT and enable organizations optimize processes, implement value-based technologies, and mine critical data-driven insights. I take my day job very seriously and am grateful to have a means of livelihood that I both enjoy as well as the satisfaction of working in the (digital) space of making patient care more accessible, reliable, and safer.
At heart, I am a bit of space-cadet – floating and living in the world of my thoughts is my ‘zone’. However, ‘paradox of qualities’ could be my middle name too – I revel in staying busy, every single moment of my waking existence. Hustle and getting things done – is truly my happy state.
From a content creation and blogging standpoint, my space is simplifying the complex business of simple daily life … which as human beings we often tend to over-complicate. I love to share life-nuggets from my own experiences and escapades from navigating the vicissitudes and the myriad shades of daily life. On my creative platforms, I strive to bring personalities who are agents of change and offer thought provoking ideas and share the simple yet profound insights from their own journeys.
From everyday heroes, to celebrity actors, beauty pageant winners, TEDx speakers and US Senators – my blog has been fortunate to host some truly amazing and inspirational personalities over conversations that both inspire and entertain.
For you, what’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative?
I create for the joy of creating and the reward of rewiring my own inner connection, in the process of introspection and an attempt to stay as authentic as possible, through my content. I am learning each day that it is okay to not have it all together, to not be perfect, and to not have that perfect plan. What is most important, is to have given each day best and most sincere shot – across all aspects of life. And then again, it is perfectly okay to slack and take timeout for my own rest and healing – when the mind or the body need that recuperation.
It’s okay to not be sure. It’s okay to take each day as it comes.
But here’s the deal, if I am doing it anyway, then I better toss all the garbage of doubt and apprehension aside!
Success as a content creator is as ephemeral or abstract as the latest viral fad – I am not here to be a fad and am not here to fade in and out. Writing, connecting, and providing a platform for causes that inspire me – is my mission.
I am simply here to stay true to and strive on my mission. And commitment, is not a fad … it’s just a part of who you chose to be.

We’d love to hear a story of resilience from your journey.
The ability to extract possibilities from different tangents and be propelled by a desire to not stagnate, to harbor a persistent growth mindset and to continue polishing your skills – to me is the key ingredient for survivorship. And I have thankfully known for some time now – that I am on the journey of life to persevere and to grow, each day!
In the summer of 2018, when I suddenly lost my job of 10 years, I hit an unexpected and unsettling hurdle. I thought this had been going well, I thought it was a good fit, I thought I was giving my best to prove my worth – yet reorgs happen and restructuring is a corporate norm. I should have known … right, I had been on the field long enough!
At that juncture I had two options really – self-doubt, self-depreciation, and loads of dejection. Or, to find a renewed purpose, new energy and to come back stronger.
What could have been a period of remorse and low self-esteem, actually became the kickstarter in helping me rediscover and redefine myself. It was that summer that my blog ‘Organicize Your Life’ was born, and it truly infused a new and invigorating life in my existence.
