Hi Nathaniel, thanks for joining us today. Let’s start with what makes profitability in your industry a challenge – what would you say is the biggest challenge?
The biggest problem is marketing. Being a small self owned and the only employee of a business is tough. Trying to get word out is difficult because i dont have the funds to spend on advertising. I have to rely on my customers spreading the word. I have also done volunteer events for churches to get a wide amount of people to then spread the word.

I got started in the bounce house business after spending the money every year for my childs birthday parties. I loved how happy it made my son but realized how expensive it was. I wanted to start this business to have a more reasonable price so that other kids have this enjoyment at a lower cost for their parents
Any insights you can share with us about how you built up your social media presence?
I created multiple accounts across all different social media sites. I used all my personal contacts on these sites to spread the word of my new business. I used all the resources such as their ad services. This will get your profile out to a wide variety of people easily for you, and at a low cost
Can you talk to us about how your funded your business?
Funding a business at the start is scary and stressful. I started by using credit cards to receive cash back from my spending. I also have used my earnings from my other job to fund other expenses. I didnt spend a ton of money at the start but instead bought a few bounce houses and once they were paid off, used my funds to buy more bounce houses.
