We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Nathan Wildman a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Alright, Nathan thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. What’s the backstory behind how you came up with the idea for your business?
Since we last connected in August, the pace of my work—and my mission—has shifted into high gear. It’s been an incredible few months, filled with growth, transformation, and a deeper focus on what truly matters.
When I first launched Rising Phoenix Business Services, my goal was to provide businesses with the tools and systems I had spent years searching for myself. At the time, I was helping companies build credit, secure funding, and establish a more stable financial foundation. It was important work, and I saw the immediate impact it made.
But as I worked with more business owners and leaders, I realized something profound: the tools weren’t the solution. They were part of the equation, but they weren’t the heart of it. What these leaders needed most wasn’t just another strategy or system—they needed clarity, resilience, and the ability to navigate the kind of rapid, sweeping change that defines the world we live in today.
That realization completely reshaped the way I work. I knew this wasn’t just about helping businesses build their bottom line; it was about empowering the people behind them. The vision grew. My mission evolved. And now, I’m working on something even bigger.
It’s no longer just about solving surface-level challenges. It’s about helping leaders embrace change—not as a burden, but as a competitive advantage.
AI has become the centerpiece of this transformation.
Right now, AI is the single most disruptive force reshaping industries, leadership, and the way we live and work. For many, it feels overwhelming—like trying to ride a wave that never ends. But here’s the truth: AI isn’t the enemy. It’s not here to replace people; it’s here to amplify what we do best.
That’s where I come in.
I guide leaders through the noise, helping them understand how to integrate AI tools into their organizations in a way that aligns with their values and vision. This isn’t about forcing a one-size-fits-all solution; it’s about crafting strategies that fit their unique needs and challenges.
The leaders I work with don’t need another checklist or a piece of software that sits unused. They need someone who can move at their speed, adapt to their challenges, and guide them as they navigate uncharted territory.
And that’s what I do.
This isn’t just a professional mission—it’s deeply personal.
Over the past few months, I’ve undergone my own transformation. I’ve lost over 50 pounds, rebuilt my habits, and redefined my focus with discipline and clarity. That journey reminded me of something essential:
Change is uncomfortable.
But it’s where the greatest growth happens.
I’ve learned firsthand how powerful it can be to face discomfort head-on, to push through resistance, and to come out stronger on the other side. That’s the mindset I bring to every client I work with.
Today, my work focuses on blending AI innovation with leadership transformation.
I help business leaders and entrepreneurs not just survive disruption but master it. Together, we go beyond the “how” of AI and dive into the “why.” Why does it matter? Why should it reflect more than just efficiency? Why is balancing innovation with emotional intelligence the key to thriving in this new era?
These are the questions that define great leadership today.

Why is balancing innovation with emotional intelligence the key to thriving in this new era? These are the questions that define great leadership today.
Since August, my work has accelerated to reflect the pace of the world we’re living in. Rising Phoenix remains the backbone of my business solutions, but my coaching practice has become my personal mission. It’s where I guide leaders through some of the most transformative moments of their lives and careers.
The truth is, the pace of change isn’t slowing down. And neither am I.
What I offer isn’t just a roadmap for navigating disruption; it’s a way to turn that disruption into opportunity. It’s about building resilience, fostering clarity, and creating a legacy that goes beyond the tools we use.
That’s the mission I’m proud to stand behind today.
As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
Who am I?
I’m Nathan Wildman, a coach, strategist, technologist, and father of four, navigating the intersection of technology and human connection. My journey isn’t just about building businesses—it’s about transforming lives and equipping leaders with the tools they need to thrive in a world that refuses to slow down.
From the very beginning, my life has been tied to innovation. I’ve been fascinated by technology since I was old enough to explore the early Apple computers with their green screens and DOS prompts. I watched as phones went from being tethered to walls to fitting in our pockets, as encyclopedias and card catalogs transformed into search engines that travel everywhere we do. This evolution has shaped not just how I see the world but how I help others navigate it.
What do I do now?
Through my company, Rising Phoenix Business Services, I’ve worked tirelessly to empower businesses and leaders with tools and strategies that go beyond surface-level fixes. But as my work has grown, so has my mission. Today, it’s not just about tools or systems—it’s about equipping people to embrace change and lead with confidence.
One of my proudest recent accomplishments is the launch of Brand Voice GPT, a course that brings together everything I’ve learned about AI, branding, and leadership transformation. This course doesn’t just teach people about AI; it helps them integrate it into their work and lives in a way that’s authentic and impactful. It’s about creating custom GPT models, crafting a unique voice, and leveraging the latest tools for maximum impact—without blowing a budget. This is AI made accessible for the entrepreneur, the dreamer, and the go-getter.
Why do I do what I do?
Because I believe that technology isn’t the answer—it’s the amplifier. It’s the human connection, the resilience, and the innovation behind the tech that truly drives change. And that’s what I help leaders unlock. Whether it’s creating workflows that save time or using AI to spark creativity, my work is about more than optimization—it’s about transformation.
Who am I beyond my work?
I’m a father first, raising four kids who inspire me every day to think bigger and dream deeper. I’m someone who thrives on quiet walks in nature, deep conversations, and endless curiosity about the world. My personal journey—losing over 50 pounds in the last two months and redefining my own discipline and focus—has been a constant reminder that growth starts from within. The better we understand ourselves, the more equipped we are to lead others.
And yes, I’m still the tech geek I’ve always been. I could spend hours talking about how far we’ve come—from text-based games and single-line prompts to creating digital avatars and AI-powered branding tools. The fact that we’ve gone from slow dial-up connections to instantaneous data sharing is a testament to how quickly we’ve learned to adapt. This is what excites me about the future: the speed of change and the opportunities it brings.
What’s next?

Let’s keep building something extraordinary, together.
Do you have multiple revenue streams – if so, can you talk to us about those streams and how your developed them?
Does your business have multiple revenue streams?
If there’s one key takeaway for any entrepreneur, it’s this: multiple revenue streams are essential. It’s one of the first questions I ask a business when we start working together.
How many ways is your business generating income? You’re a restaurant? Great—where’s your merch? Do you sell anything online? Ever thought about offering a course on running a successful kitchen? It’s not just about diversification for the sake of it—it’s about building an ecosystem that keeps your business resilient and thriving.
The truth is, almost any business can branch out with new revenue streams that fit seamlessly into its structure. Whether it’s owning a barbershop, adding an ATM, running a storage facility, or even integrating high-margin side hustles like tax-saving services or affiliate partnerships, the possibilities are endless. The real key? A proper dashboard—one that monitors your inflows, outflows, and everything in between.
Think of your business as a rocket ship. When I get in my spaceship every morning, I need to see what’s working, what’s fueling the journey, and where the next thrust needs to come from. These aren’t just separate ventures—they’re boosters, propelling you to your goals.
At Rising Phoenix, for example, my consulting and funding services are core revenue streams. I work with affiliate partnerships, offering software tools and resources to my clients that not only solve their challenges but add income to my business. Then there are side missions—like our partnerships with Spectrum for community outreach, providing affordable internet and phone services. It’s almost like building a second business, but that’s the mindset you need to scale.
And it doesn’t stop there. Tax-saving services, like helping businesses claim self-employment tax credits or access funding in as little as 5 to 12 days, create new opportunities for clients while generating income streams for me. Class-action partnerships? Shipping discounts? Full business automation setups? These are all examples of how streams can align with your core mission.
The goal isn’t just to scatter revenue streams everywhere. It’s about creating a cohesive system where each stream strengthens the whole. Operations? Check. Funding? Covered. Marketing and HR? Let’s bring those into alignment, too.
If you’re aiming high—and I mean really high—you’ll realize there’s no way to reach your goals without strapping as many jetpacks of revenue behind your rocket as you can. It’s not just about adding income. It’s about ensuring your business is agile, resilient, and ready to adapt to anything.
So, take a moment and ask yourself: How many ways are you fueling your business? And are those streams working together to lift you higher?
Because at the end of the day, more revenue streams aren’t just key—they’re liftoff.
What’s worked well for you in terms of a source for new clients?
When it comes to my coaching practice and working with business leaders, referrals are by far the most impactful source of new clients. This kind of work isn’t something you advertise widely—it’s deeply personal and transformative. Typically, someone in my network who recognizes a leader’s need for meaningful change will say, “You need to talk to Nate.” That kind of recommendation carries weight, and every single time I’ve connected with someone through a referral, we’ve been able to create major breakthroughs if the fit was right for both of us.
This kind of deep-dive coaching—work that reshapes mindsets and creates lasting change—thrives on trust and word-of-mouth. It’s not about flashy advertising; it’s about results and relationships.
When it comes to my funding resources, AI tools, and business solutions, social media plays a much larger role. I manage five different platforms and about a dozen pages, leveraging AI to keep everything running smoothly. Admittedly, it’s a lot to juggle, and not every post lands perfectly, but it’s a system that works. Social media allows me to reach a broader audience for these services, but even then, it’s not just about getting clicks—it’s about continuous engagement and fostering connections.
For courses and programs like Brand Voice GPT, I’ve found great success through joint ventures, partnerships, and engaging webinars. These collaborative efforts allow me to connect with motivated individuals who are ready to take the next step, whether it’s customizing their AI tools or building their personal brand.
Speaking of engagement, don’t forget to check out my free Facebook group, My Buddy GPT. It’s a community where we learn, laugh, and level up together with insights on ChatGPT and beyond.
In all of this, one thing remains constant: the importance of connection. Whether it’s through referrals, partnerships, or social platforms, every new client relationship starts with a shared vision and trust. That’s the foundation of everything I do.
