We were lucky to catch up with Nathan Morgan recently and have shared our conversation below.
Nathan, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. We’d love to go back in time and hear the story of how you came up with the name of your brand?
DevilPanda is a gamer tag I have had for almost 20 years. I am an avid gamer along with everything else. I wanted a name that stood out and it has definitely done that. My oldest child drew the logo picture for me. I have received many positive comments on both the name and logo.

Nathan, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
Well to be honest, it all started as therapy for me. In mid 2018 I had a devastating mental breakdown, life had run me over with a steamroller. During this time I picked up crafting to occupy my time. At first it was small things that I would give to friends and family. Then it was suggested that I try and sell some of my crafts. I did just that, and found I really enjoyed being in the market scene. It was soon after that I noticed that there was a need for the retail items I sell. Any artist will tell you, it is hard to make it selling art alone. So I joined forces with Sourpuss, Kreepsville, Alchemy of England, and several other small wholesalers. I still do the crafts alone with the retail items, and it has been a great adventure.
Where do you think you get most of your clients from?
Attending outdoor markets, events, and pop-ups. I enjoy being out with people and seeing their faces when they see an item they really like. I will talk to anyone that approaches me and I think that is the biggest sources of new customers for me.

Any stories or insights that might help us understand how you’ve built such a strong reputation?
I try to be a real genuine gentleman when I am at markets. I smile and say hi to everyone I see, I try to be very approachable, and I try to carry items no one else has. I also wear a Kilt in the summer time, that helps a lot, haha. I have had customers follow me to different shows, and even had people recognize the Logo when I am not at a market.
