Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Nathan Miles. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Nathan, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. Before we get into specifics, let’s talk about success more generally. What do you think it takes to be successful?

For me, success boils down to a very simple question: how bad do you want it? We’re in constant competition; others wanting the same success; other businesses already booming; and most importantly, with ourselves. What are you willing to do, that others won’t? On that one cold, early, wet Sunday morning where you just want to get an extra 2 hours sleep, will you let that be your excuse, or your motivation?

That’s what it comes down to for me.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.

My brother & I started JNM Football in September of 2019, with 1 mission – helping as many footballers achieve what we had as possible. From online coaching to help them develop, to helping them with networking to find professional opportunities. We provide our clients with everything they could possibly need both on and off the pitch, in order to thrive.

Can you share a story from your journey that illustrates your resilience?

In this business, we didn’t earn a penny for the first 6 months. And I mean total income, not a penny came through the door. We believed in the long-term vision so much that we stuck it out. And when our first client signed up, we never looked back.

Any insights you can share with us about how you built up your social media presence?

Our success came from purely organic social media growth. And my advice? Post. Consistency is what got us eyeballs, we posted 3 times per day without failure for 3+ years. Without a single day off. Travelling? We made it work. Family emergencies? We made it work. We planned ahead of time, and put in the hours. Not a lot of our content was great for a long time, but the more you post, the more you’ll understand what works.
