Nathalia, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today We’d love to go back in time and hear the story of how you came up with the name of your brand?
Naming our brand was indeed a journey filled with contemplation, inspiration, and a deep-rooted desire to reflect our values and mission. When Marcela and I embarked on this adventure, we knew that we wanted a name that encapsulated our vision of creating snacks that not only nourish the body but also evoke a sense of comfort and familiarity.
As we brainstormed ideas, we kept coming back to the concept of balance – both in terms of ingredients and nutrients, but also in the broader context of life. We wanted our brand to represent a harmonious blend of health, flavor, and convenience, something that could seamlessly integrate into any lifestyle.
That’s when the idea of “2FIT” struck us. The number “2” not only represents the two of us, Marcela and Nathalia, but it also symbolizes the idea of balance and duality. We wanted our snacks to cater to both the physical and emotional well-being of our consumers, providing them with a wholesome experience that they could enjoy anytime, anywhere.
“FIT” not only signifies fitness and health but also encompasses the notion of being the right fit – the perfect snack for every occasion, every craving, and every dietary preference. We wanted our brand to be inclusive and adaptable, offering something for everyone, regardless of their individual fitness goals or lifestyle choices.
Thus, 2FIT BRANDS was born. It’s more than just a name; it’s a representation of our dedication to diversity, quality, and a steadfast commitment to promoting a healthier and happier lifestyle. With every product we create, we strive to uphold these values and empower individuals to make informed choices about what they consume.
From our kitchens to expanding into retailers like Life Time, each step of our journey has been guided by our passion for health and wellness. My journey into the health and wellness industry has been deeply rooted in my lifelong passion for promoting a healthier lifestyle, which was nurtured through my experiences as a gymnast from a young age. Health and wellness have been integral parts of my identity for as long as I can remember. Teaming up with Marcela, whose background in nutrition added invaluable expertise to our venture, we embarked on a shared mission to create snacks that nourish the body while aligning with our values of sustainability and well-being.
Our decision to focus on vegan, keto, and certified gluten-free snacks was driven by personal experiences and observations. As a college student, I struggled to find snacks that not only satisfied my nutritional needs but also met my health needs without causing discomfort. Marcela and I were always on the hunt for a product that fulfilled our needs. Recognizing a prevalent gap in the health and wellness market, particularly concerning the quality of ingredients used in many products, we made a conscious choice to prioritize quality and exclude sugar alcohols, refined sugars, and palm oil from our offerings.
What sets us apart from the competition is our unwavering commitment to quality and transparency. While many competitors incorporate ingredients like sugar alcohols and palm oil, we remain steadfast in our dedication to using only the highest quality ingredients that promote personal and environmental well-being.

Can you tell us the story behind how you met your business partner?
The story of how Marcela, my co-founder and now sister-in-law, and I met is truly serendipitous. It all began with a friendship rooted in our shared passion for health and wellness. As we got to know each other better, we quickly realized that we complemented each other perfectly in the health and wellness world.
Our friendship blossomed into a familial bond when I became grateful to call Marcela my sister-in-law. This transition from friends to family only strengthened our connection and laid the foundation for our partnership in business as well as helped foster boundaries to be able to navigate our family and business relationship.
Marcela’s background in nutrition and her certification as a personal trainer perfectly complemented my lifelong journey as a gymnast. Together, we brought a diverse set of skills and experiences to the table, allowing us to balance each other out in every aspect of our business.
Having grown up in a family business myself, I understood the importance of working closely with loved ones to achieve common goals. Knowing that I could collaborate hand in hand with my sister-in-law, as well as our family, to build 2FIT BRANDS was incredibly empowering.
Our journey from friendship to sisterhood to business partners has been nothing short of remarkable. Together, we’ve navigated the highs and lows of entrepreneurship, relying on each other’s strengths and unwavering support to propel 2FIT BRANDS forward. And as we continue to grow and evolve, I’m grateful for the opportunity to embark on this journey alongside my sister-in-law and our family, shaping the future of health and wellness one nutritious snack at a time.
Any thoughts, advice, or strategies you can share for fostering brand loyalty?
To keep in touch with clients and foster brand loyalty, we employ a range of strategies that encompass both digital and personal interactions. Firstly, we utilize email marketing campaigns to regularly update our clients on new products, promotions, and events. These newsletters serve as a direct line of communication and help to keep our brand top of mind.
In addition to email, we actively engage with our audience across various social media platforms. By sharing informative content, hosting Q&A sessions, and promptly responding to comments and messages, we create an interactive community where clients feel valued and connected to our brand.
Furthermore, we recognize the importance of face-to-face interactions in building strong relationships. We participate in relevant industry events and trade shows to showcase our brand and engage with potential clients on a personal level. Additionally, we conduct sampling activities at retail locations to provide consumers with firsthand experience of our products and gather feedback.
