Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Natasha Vega. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Alright, Natasha thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Has Covid resulted in any major changes to your business model?
The beginning of Covid was a tough time for my business. I began my journey in March 2020 and two weeks later I had to close. When we finally able to open up our business, the clientele took a while to build. We were still cautious because our world had changed. Cleaning wasn’t something new to me, having a clean space for my clients was the easy part! I believe that challenges will come with all businesses but learning to show my clients my clean procedures helped me a lot.
Natasha, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
The beginning of 2013 I was let go of my job. This was a challenging time for me, I had to figure out what my next steps would be. I decided to try massage therapy school and I loved it immediately! My clients enter my space with tensed muscles and they leave relaxed and ready to take in the world! Being an esthetician is also important to me. I struggled with teen acne and it left me insecure for years. Now I am able to help my clients control and learn about their acne. I am here to show them that they shouldn’t feel ashamed for having acne like I did. I’ve truely found my passion in life!
Can you tell us about what’s worked well for you in terms of growing your clientele?
Remember to stay true to yourself. This can be the hardest thing to do in this business. I think that society make us feel like we have to look and act a certain way to be successful but I don’t agree with that. Staying true to yourself will help you attract your ideal clientele! You clients will gravitate to you and your business!
How do you keep in touch with clients and foster brand loyalty?
Making my client feel like they are my only client is my passion. I want them to feel relaxed and stress free after they leave their appointment. Being able to message my client, customize treatment plans for them and earning their trust is important as well. I have loyalty points awarded to my clients so that they are able to earn discounts on services and facial products too.
