We recently connected with Natasha Jimenez and have shared our conversation below.
Natasha, appreciate you joining us today. We’d love to start by getting your thoughts on what you are seeing as some the biggest trends emerging in your industry.
A few trends we will see in the wedding industry come 2025 is direct flash portraits. This is a trend that is currently a thing and i believe it will stay trending for longer. Brides are making this an actual event.
Another trend that I love is Documentary meets editorial portraits for the couple. I think, just capturing them in the moment, but also creating timeless & effortless photos that tell a story. Along with this one doing more traditional portraits, this is simple. Simple pose looking at the camera. I think everybody’s looking for a more elegant look to their portrait. Going back to traditional is where it’s at. Also Including chairs, staircases and landscape will help elevate this. I think this is gonna be a bigger trend in the upcoming year. Check out Milly Bobby Browns wedding. It’s one of my favorites.
Lastly i think that people are gonna be not just doing film and point-and-shoot type of Photography along with their regular digital images, but I think double exposure might make its way back in. It’s a fun and unique thing to do for your couples.
I love all of these trends and I cannot wait for my 2025 season to start so I can continue to provide these fun aspects in my clients galleries
I love talking to my couples about what their vision is and what their dreams are for their wedding. From the style they chose, details they envision and vibe they want their wedding to be. Asking about this tells me a lot as to what direction I should take as far as photos. A lot of couples already know what they want and what they want me to focus on. I just help make sure that we provide the time to make these things happen. I think my biggest flex if you will is making sure that every couple of mine feel as though they’re my only client and I think that is a very difficult thing to do, but for me, it does come naturally. Keeping the line of communication going and being open to different ideas it the best experience i can for them.
Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.
