Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Natasha Jackson. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Alright, Natasha thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Can you tell us about a time where you or your team really helped a customer get an amazing result?
The opportunity to be the event planner for a wedding party of 20 plus individuals and at a venue in a different town. The details worked well and connecting with the venue contact person, and referrals to additional services.
The opportunity to continue to grow and enhance my craft. The goal to maintain a STRESS FREE Zone.

Natasha, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
I have always enjoyed thinking of unique celebrations, festivities, or venues for various memorable moments. I would do it fun, working many hours in researching deals, games, doing invites, setting up( getting helpers), and the details for whatever the occasion. Friends, peers, or co-workers would inquire for my resources and connections based on resources. I realized it was my time to get paid for my work industry that’s marketed around the world.
I believe that paying attention to the clients needs, interest, scheduling ,and being the point of contacts based on services. The ability to exceed , the expectations and exhibit great vibes around me.
I do believe in giving back to the community and individuals impacted by domestic violence, human trafficking, cancer, addictions, and who are seeking to reclaim themselves.
Volunteered and worked with Domestic Violence Organizations for various events in the community, self care beauty night, and more.

What’s a lesson you had to unlearn and what’s the backstory?
Due to pandemic a family had to reschedule her wedding date. The services provided was paid for and I did complete the tasks. Yet due to wedding being rescheduled ; I automatically shifted some projects around to accommodate services.
The services up until the change of date was provided. I had scheduled time off of my main job and had to request another date due to changes.
I learned that I had to overbook when it becomes a conflict of interest That it’s okay to say no and be okay.
To finish the services paid for and agreed on and allow client to seek another day of planner.
Client received a special promotion and was seeking additional services not offered in promotion. The services was never included in the contract..
My word is my bond yet this did not align with positivity and integrity. A humbling lesson for me.

Let’s talk about resilience next – do you have a story you can share with us?
As an event planner, I envisioned hosting a Entrepreneurial Mix and Mingle for collaboration for businesses. This allowed for a collaboration of services and sales of products. The event happened after my employment ended from career of 19 years. The event concept modified from how I wanted to fulfill it to being able to have an intimate connection between entrepreneurs.
I still had the event and made new connections of various services.
The event happened prior to the COVID-19 pandemic and now I’m in the planning process for the next Mix & Mingle Pop-up Event 2023.. I am now seeking to collaborate with a venue and to market for that establishment and entrepreneurs to connect with customers. So if a hotel, venue, or establishment are willing to host for the mix and mingle, let’s collaborate for the community and cultural uniqueness.
The connection made with Ms. Shontel Gooden of Artful Thawts at https://www.artfulthawts.com/?fs=e&s=cl , poured into me and encouraged me holistically .
