We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Natasha Coleman-Ball. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Natasha below.
Hi Natasha, thanks for joining us today. Let’s talk legacy – what sort of legacy do you hope to build?
My mission in life is to create a brand that will last forever. My modeling agency was created to be a voice for those who didn’t have a platform to speak up in the industry. I want to be known for saying yes, when models were told no so many times. I want to build winners instead of breaking them down. But most importantly, I want to give them hope when they want to give up. When people think about me, Natasha Coleman-Ball, I want them to say she genuinely cared about her models and did everything in her power to advocate for their success.

Natasha, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
I started my acting and modeling career when I was 10 years old. My parents signed me up for John Robert Powers, to help me with my sever social anxiety. I fell in love with it and 15 years later, I have graced runways in London, Milan, New York, L.A, Miami, just to name a few. Modeled for many brands, been on the cover of several magazines, and held billboard locations in over six different cities. As much as I love modeling myself, my passion lies with making these experiences happen for others. I started my business in 2022, with a mission to promote diversity in the modeling industry. Despite the success, I have been told NO, more than I have been told YES. I have had brands say I was too short, that my hair wasn’t a desirable texture, that my skin color wasn’t what they were looking for, I was even told I wasn’t slim enough. My company focuses on saying yes, when there are so many no’s, and branding models to be the best they can be.

What do you think helped you build your reputation within your market?
I believe my mindset has helped me build my reputation, grow my clientele, and retain them a long the way. Everyone in business wants to make money, but that is not my sole focus. I always put the client first no matter what. I have experienced organizations that treat people like a dollar sign instead of people with genuine feelings. Yes, money makes the world go round. But my business is all about customer satisfaction, it doesn’t matter if you are investing $25 in the business, or $2,500, I treat everyone the same. We are a family at CB Modeling Associates, and we take care of each other.

Any insights you can share with us about how you built up your social media presence?
Social Media will either make or break you. When it comes to building a brand, consistency is key in marketing. Everything is content. EVERYTHING! Never lose your relevance, whether you are posting about getting ready for a business meeting with an investor, or filming the event planning process. You attract what you are. If you are dedicated, consistent, and always looking for connections…You will attract like minded people.
