We were lucky to catch up with NaTasha Ashton recently and have shared our conversation below.
Hi NaTasha, thanks for joining us today. Do you have a hero? What have you learned from them?
All of my life my mother has been there. She has been my number 1 cheerleader with everything from graphic design to becoming a published author. She was my first client and so much more. Being that I have a disability, she has taught me how to keep pushing in the midst of adversity. Unfortunately, my mother passed away suddenly on Sunday, April 21, 2013 at 58 from Sarcoidosis.

NaTasha, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
When I was younger, I’ve always had the love of art. My mom would always give me markers, paint, other arts and crafts etc. I have always loved computers. Then I started to play a little bit in graphic design. Once I figured out that’s what I wanted to do, I decided to major in graphic design. After four years of studying I graduated in 2010 with my Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts in Visual Communication (graphic design).
After that, I took my graphic design agency seri. My business went through numerous name changes. I eventually settled on my current company name Ashton Creative Group.

How about pivoting – can you share the story of a time you’ve had to pivot?
Before I was a graphic design major I majored in business.

Any insights you can share with us about how you built up your social media presence?
For the most part I try and stay consistent on my business socials.
