Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Natasha Aladin. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Hi Natasha , thanks for joining us today. How do you think about vacations as a business owner? Do you take them and if so, how? If you don’t, why not?
Yes! I absolutely take vacations! But it wasn’t always the case. When you’re first trying to establish your business, it’s tough to get away. You always want to be present and make sure everything is going well. As an entrepreneur, you’re always thinking of ways to grow your business and take it to the next level. If you’re not careful, that can begin to wear on you. While you might feel uncomfortable or guilty, taking time off is essential so you can come back focused and rejuvenated. Otherwise you’re likely to end up burning out and being less effective. For me, taking time away from my work is a great time to reflect and appreciate all that I have in my life. Being able to get away with my husband and my family reminds me of why I work so hard. While I truly love what I do, I also believe that time away with your loved ones is essential!

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
I’ve had an ongoing love affair with fashion for as long as I can remember and had always dreamed of opening my own boutique. In 2011, I finally took the leap, and my dream became a reality when we opened Natasha Couture Fashion. We at Natasha Couture Fashion take pride in providing our clients a personal shopping experience catered to their fashion needs. We specialize in carrying the latest trends in fashion yet carry pieces that you typically won’t find elsewhere. It’s always a challenge to keep evolving and growing the business, but it’s a challenge I enjoy taking on. In recent years, we’ve put a much larger emphasis on e-commerce, providing a greater digital customer experience on our website and social media platforms. We are proud of the way our boutique and our business has grown over the years. This is in large part to the support of our loyal client base and word of mouth advertising in Atlanta. I absolutely love what I do and couldn’t imagine doing anything else.

What do you think helped you build your reputation within your market?
I believe the most important thing that helped build our reputation within our market was good old-fashioned customer service, which never goes out of style. If you treat your customers well, they’ll come back for more and enhance your reputation by leaving great feedback and reviews. People appreciate added effort and generosity. Small gestures can impact your reputation by highlighting that you value your connections with your customers. And finally, be authentic. Authenticity makes you appealing and relatable. Focus your efforts on delivering excellent service and creating positive experiences for your customers. By doing so, the buzz will build itself around your business.
Can you tell us about what’s worked well for you in terms of growing your clientele?
The most effective strategy for growing our clientele has been word of mouth advertising by our current clients and our presence on social media. Having an effective social media strategy has enhanced our online presence and increased brand awareness. Recommendations through social media or direct referrals have been a big key to our growth. I truly believe current clients lead to future clients. People trust people they know. I take great pride in building relationships with all my clients and giving them a personal touch with their experience in our boutique.
