We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Natalie Noble a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Natalie, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today We’d love to have you retell us the story behind how you came up with the idea for your business, I think our audience would really enjoy hearing the backstory.
I am a branding consultant and media influencer, dedicated to empowering aspiring and starting entrepreneurs with branding and business tips. Through my content, I provide valuable insights on how to remain focused and driven in the competitive business world. As a brand manager and business consultant, I offer consulting services to help startup business owners establish a cohesive and aesthetically appealing brand image.
Additionally, I manage social media platforms for my clients and design effective social media marketing and content plans that foster engagement and interaction with their followers. I have earned a reputation as the “branding girl” or the “media girl,” thanks to my popular blogs, video creations, and podcast episodes that have helped many people on both personal and professional levels.
As a woman in a male-dominated industry, I understand the challenges and discrimination that women face. This is why I make it a priority to highlight the potential and ability of female entrepreneurship in everything I do, from my media agency to my women’s empowerment platform. I believe that a business or brand with a social sustainability message is more than just a profit-making entity, and I strive to educate and change people’s perceptions of women in business and entrepreneurship.
Through my work with like-minded brands, I have created a strong business model and a positive atmosphere that others take notice of. I am proud to be a beacon of light in a dark industry for women, and I hope to inspire and provide an example for young women and girls who aspire to be entrepreneurs.
Natalie, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
Since 2011, I have been working as a Marketing and Branding Expert. After graduating with a bachelor’s degree in Marketing, I decided to expand my skills in various fields such as radio broadcasting, journalism, photography, public relations, new millennial marketing, business management, and advertising. I wanted to become a marketing guru and provide guidance to aspiring entrepreneurs and small businesses. My focus is on educating my community and my following with practical tips on how to maintain and build a profitable business from both a corporate and entrepreneurial aspect.
I experienced corporate glass ceiling discrimination and made it my mission to start my women empowerment organization Bizness Babe Army in 2017. The goal was to create a strong group of women who are corporate workers that believe that women can and will do the same job as men despite their biological and physical differences. Later, I sold that business and now focus more on my media agency and personal Instagram platform.
Realizing my worth and potential, I started my digital media LLC, NR Media Agency, in 2017 as a full-time entrepreneur. I design and execute brand collateral for my small business clients. I work diligently and strategically with clients who want to start a business or develop on-target content for their brand.
As a serial entrepreneur with three start-up companies under my belt, my life’s mission is to empower and encourage female entrepreneurs through speaking engagements, hosting business networking events, curating empowering blogs, and creating engaging episodes for my podcast available on iTunes and Soundcloud entitled CEO CHATS.
We often hear about learning lessons – but just as important is unlearning lessons. Have you ever had to unlearn a lesson?
It has not been a smooth road what so ever in entrepreneurship. Entrepreneurship and maintaining a social sustainability message has been the hardest decision ever. As a female entrepreneur who is in her 30s, it is very important for me to let my audience know the truth behind starting a business. There will be sleepless nights trying to find out your next move or figuring out how to scale your business. There will even be a mental breakdown of you not feeling successful or worthy to even manage this business. But entrepreneurship is all about mental strength to continue on despite the downfalls and to learn from your mistakes and become wiser as you maturely grow with business ownership. My advice to any woman or young women who are wanting to start their own journey is to find your purpose in life. Dig deep within yourself and know what you want to do with your life’s legacy. What message and mission do you want to leave behind? And what business could you start that would solve an issue in the world and ultimately become profitable enough for you to succeed at it. Lastly, build enough self-confidence that even the worse day seems like the best day. There will be a lot of disappointments before the blessings and once you make it passed those hardships, your blessings will overflow
How’d you build such a strong reputation within your market?
Social media marketing and content creation have truly helped my business because content has taken over. I grew my tiktok account from 0 to 20,000 in four months because I posted meaningful content every day with a topic and caption that was relevant to my target audience and niche. This strategy really helped me find new clients, followers, and supporters.
Secondly, networking and event curating has helped me as well. People want access to their mentors or favorite influencers. So when I begin creating events to meet me and learn from me, my reputation skyrocketed quickly due to that. Still to this day, I attend an event and can guarantee finding a client or new supporter.
