We recently connected with Natalie Kita and have shared our conversation below.
Natalie, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today We’d love to have you retell us the story behind how you came up with the idea for your business, I think our audience would really enjoy hearing the backstory.
It’s a long and winding road that led me here, actually — a gradual and natural evolution.
I was a successful professional photographer for 14 years. A few years after starting that business, other photographers were asking me to teach them the secrets to my success. And yet, once I started teaching, I quickly realized that their problem usually wasn’t a lack of business knowledge… It was mostly a problem with mindset. As a certified hypnotherapist and long-time law of attraction enthusiast, I knew that’s how I could help them most.
So that’s how my teaching of creative business success evolved into teaching manifesting skills, and using hypnosis as part of that. During that transition, I expanded my own education by becoming a certified Master NLP (neurolinguistic programming) Practioner and Certified Life Coach, and created a comprehensive program to help my clients manifest massive success in their businesses, and increases in their financial abundance…
And here’s where it really started to get interesting…
As I expanded my knowledge of these techniques, I started applying them to the one area of my own life where I had continually struggled — my love life. My results were nothing short of spectacular, and I manifested the first truly healthy and fulfilling relationship of my life, with the kind of partner I didn’t even think existed before. And my clients noticed.
The next thing I knew, my clients were saying to me, “I want what you have. I love what this coaching has done for me financially, but what I really want more than anything is to have happy, satisfying, committed relationship. Can you help me with that?”
So I started helping my existing clients with love as well and business and finances. And they got fantastic results, just as I had.
At that point, I realized, I truly believe that love is the most important thing in the world. All of life is based on relationships, and one’s primary romantic partnership truly affects every area of our lives. I found so much fulfillment helping women find love with amazing partners, that I decided I wanted to devote myself to it, full time.
Around this time, the pandemic struck… and I had to work out a way to do all of this without being face to face with people… so I got to work creating a very thorough online course to help “single again” women over 40 manifest their last loves.
I realized along the way, that with this area of life involving so much emotion, and because people’s toxic love patterns were almost always life-long struggles starting at a very young age, my clients would need extra help and hand-holding through this process. And so, my coaching program and online course, Your Last Love Method™, was born.
The truth is, there were already lots of dating coaches out there. I had actually looked into many of their programs when I was still single… But to be frank, I didn’t like what I found. These dating “gurus” were mostly teaching antiquated, sexist “tactics” that felt fake, manipulative, and just plain “icky.” I knew I didn’t want to play those games, and I would not teach my clients to play them, either. I knew we had to make this transformation from the inside out, working on a deeper level, to achieve meaningful and lasting change in my clients’ love lives.
My program uses a combination of deep subconscious reprogramming techniques, practical application of the law of attraction, authentic common-sense communication techniques, and effective modern dating strategies that actually work in the 21st century for successful, educated, independent women who want to live and love authentically. Because of this, I have witnessed stunning transformation in the lives of my clients — many who are, like me, now enjoying the first truly fulfilling and healthy relationships of their entire lives.

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
Hmmmm… I actually think I answered this already on my answer to the previous question, because it all ties in together. Maybe I was overly thorough in answering that one?
What else should we know about how you took your side hustle and scaled it up into what it is today?
I started this business part-time in 2019, while still running a full-time photography business. When the pandemic hit, my studio was closed down for three months, so I was finally able to devote more time to completing the creation of my group program, while working with private clients. In 2021, I started phasing out the photography business by only taking a small number of shoots — just enough to pay the bills.
Although I already had a strong social media following, there was definitely some trial and error involved in “converting” my audience from one long-standing and popular business to a completely different kind of business. I invested a lot of money in coaching for myself to try and shorten the learning curve.
I was all set to completely retire from the photography business by the end of 2021 — my last shoot was in December, and I was taking a giant leap of faith accepting no shoots at all starting in January 2022, knowing that I had actually spent more than I had made on the coaching business over the past two years it took to build it.
I knew if I didn’t burn the boats and put my all into this business, I would never be able to grow it the way I wanted… So in November of 2021 I ran up my credit cards investing in one final (very expensive!) business coach, to learn how to effectively use Facebook ads to scale FAST.
Thankfully, it worked. I have increased my revenue more than 60-fold in only the last 10 months. I have a mostly-automated marketing and sales funnel, and a team that consists of 3 sales people and a virtual assistant. At the first of the year, I will be bringing my new husband on as well, as my CTO and COO, so I can focus even more on content creation and delivering stellar service to my clients.
I am very profitable at this point, and getting amazing feedback every day from clients who are immensely grateful for the difference my program has made in their lives. It was a heck of a leap to take, leaving a successful business that I loved, to do something that spoke to my soul…. but I’m thankful every day that I took that shot.

How did you build your audience on social media?
I built my audience on social media by focusing on just the one platform where my target market is found — Facebook. My audience isn’t HUGE, but it is big enough, and it is focused.
The basic principles that have provided me with a great following are:
1) Be open, vulnerable, and honest. People don’t want polished marketing-speak. They want someone they can admire and respect, but also, relate to. Nobody can relate to perfect. People relate to real.
2) Don’t keep your work or business a secret, and don’t try too hard to keep your business and your life “separate.” People want to do business with people, not corporations. If your audience feel like they know you, they will trust you more.
3) Do NOT try to appeal to everyone. You’ll end up watering down your message, getting lost in a sea of sameness, and ultimately, appealing to no one. Be authentic, and don’t be afraid to be polarizing.
4) Develop a thick skin. People can be nasty on the internet, and when this happens you must learn to see it as a reflection of what’s going on with them, not as a valid judgment of you. One of my favorite quotes about this is from Dita Von Teese, I believe, and it goes like this: “You could be the ripest, sweetest, juiciest peach in the whole world… and you’ll still run across some people who just hate peaches.” (paraphrased)
5) Protect your reputation by being firm, kind, and honest in your dealings with the public, and of course, your customers. You don’t want to be a jerk, but you also don’t want to be a doormat. Integrity and respect (including self respect) are invaluable.
