We recently connected with Natalie Jackson and have shared our conversation below.
Natalie, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. What do you think matters most in terms of achieving success?
Mindset! I truly believe our thoughts determine our decisions and actions. You have to be willing to release any limiting beliefs and shift your mindset into success mode. Everything and I do mean EVERYTHING starts within YOU. Trust yourself!
My inner voice always knows best and helps me move forward no matter the challenge. Once I realized this and shifted my mindset, I started to notice major changes in myself immediately. I’ve been able to expand my skills and started approaching life with a positive and abundant mindset. I choose to be happier and life is so fulfilling. This has also helped me to get out of my comfort zone. It’s important to push yourself to new obstacles and challenges – even when you’re afraid. Afraid equals growth and growth equals success.
We all have the knowledge and resources to change our mindsets. You are in charge of your life and your success. Thoughts have incredible power over our everyday lives, so why not create something beautiful that empowers you?
“Change ya mindset, change yo life”

Natalie, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
The name of my business is Moore Closings, LLC. Moore Closings is an Independent Transaction Management Company offering contract-to-close services to Real Estate Agents. Transaction Coordinators (TC) provide a lot of value to the real estate industry. I support agents by taking time-consuming, detail-specific, and deadline-orientated tasks related to the contract of their hands. As a TC, I focus on coordinating with all the parties associated with my pending transaction and providing frequent updates to all parties. There are several moving parts to any real estate transaction and, several roles responsible for completing the numerous aspects of the workflow. I keep the process streamlined, organized, and most importantly on schedule to meet our close date. My goal is to keep my clients on track, provide timely communication, and achieve peace of mind.
Real estate was my destiny. I started my journey in real estate back in 2003 while working for BOA. I’ve worked for multiple financial institutions focusing on commercial and residential financing, underwriting, and banking. At the beginning of 2021, I obtained my real estate license and after working as a Realtor I honestly understand how important it is to stay flexible in a transaction because it can change at any moment. I truly enjoy all aspects of Real Estate but found my niche as a TC. I love problem-solving, communicating, and working diligently behind the scene to make the journey of buying or selling a home as smooth as possible.
What sets my business apart is kindness. Kindness is grace. Real estate can be very intense at times and we are all working hard to close the deal. However, I think we forget that humans make mistakes and are entitled to bad days. For me, kindness is a strength and I practice it daily. A simple compliment or recognition can make a difference in someone’s day and my kindness always comes back to me.
I am most proud of the relationships I have built in my transaction coordinator journey. I’ve crossed so many paths and have created some amazing lifelong relationships. I want my clients to know this is more than just a transaction for me. I am here to build long-lasting successful partnerships.

How do you keep in touch with clients and foster brand loyalty?
I love sending handwritten notes to my clients. We’ve forgotten the importance of human touch and a handwritten note or card brings back that personal touch. Clients will remember a handwritten envelope they held in hand and opened. I think it helps keep you top-of-mind and makes the gesture memorable.
Building a loyal client base involves open communication and showing gratitude for your client’s trust in you. Communication is a core strength within my business. My passion is to help others, helping them manage and grow their business. Allowing my clients to see that I am reliable and responsive and have their best interests in mind. This is how I begin to foster brand loyalty. Once the buying or selling process is complete, I always take the time to show my clients how much I appreciate their trust in me. Sending a handwritten card is a small gesture, but trust me it goes a long way.

Learning and unlearning are both critical parts of growth – can you share a story of a time when you had to unlearn a lesson?
I had to unlearn that discomfort and obstacles do NOT ruin your life. The process of unlearning was hard. Through self-work, I uncovered quite a few limiting beliefs that were holding me back from success. Self-work was essential in my journey, encouraging me to challenge my limiting beliefs and create new ones. I’ve always looked at doubt, fear, and failure as negative feelings, but I now understand that these emotions were necessary for my growth.
2021 came with a few life-changing experiences and I never thought I would make it to the other end. I found life taking me in a direction I didn’t plan for and in a very dark place. At the beginning of the year, I took a 30-day leave of absence from my corporate job. This small break allowed me the space to sit with myself, create a plan for the life I wanted to live and prioritize my self-care. I set goals for everything I wanted to achieve by the end of my leave. Looking for other creative ways to increase my income, I purchased a Transaction Coordinating course last year. The digital download remained untouched in my inbox up until this point. I added taking the course as a goal to complete during my time off. Not only did I complete the course, but I also created my own Transaction Coordination business, Moore Closings, LLC. I was so amazed and proud of all of the work I was able to do in just 30 days. I launched my website and was open for business on February 1st. I even secured my 1st client! I planned to return to work and grow my business on the side. February 2nd, things became uncomfortable again. My job called and notified me that I was being laid off effective immediately. I begin to worry about my bills, healthcare, and my overall livelihood. However, I knew that I would be okay because of the work I had done around my mindset. My obstacles showed me that “Life is like an ocean, up and down”. I learned to ride some big waves and accept the lessons life was trying to teach me. I was able to achieve my dream of entrepreneurship by being resilient. I am so proud of myself for making it to the other end. My gratitude for the journey is indescribable, I am for sure experiencing the shortest path to life fulfillment. To me, that’s priceless.
The unknown is scary, but anything worth achieving will come with doubt, fear, and failures. My goal is to not resist these things but to embrace them. Even if the wave crashes me and I get knocked down, it’s just part of the process.
One of my favorites quotes by Shonda Rimes is – “Get comfortable with being uncomfortable”
