Natalie, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today When did you first know you wanted to pursue a creative/artistic path professionally?
As far back as I can remember, I knew I wanted to sing and tell stories forever. Of course as a small child that translated to playing make believe and singing along to every Disney movie and musical soundtrack I could get my hands on. I remember seeing plays and movies or even the choir at church singing and thinking to myself that I wanted to be a performer too. It wasn’t until I was about 6 or 7 when my Mom put me in community theatre and that’s when I fell in love with the craft itself. The first time I stepped onto the stage in full costume and heard the music play, I felt a rush of excitement and belonging. I remember thinking at the end of the opening number, ‘This is what I’m meant to do.’
It was that moment on stage, being in the ensemble of Alice In Wonderland with GOFAME, that I realized I wanted to make a career out of it. My mother and grandmother, though not artists themselves, encouraged my creativity by taking me to rehearsals after school and on the weekends and supported my decision to pursue the arts.
From that moment on, I dedicated myself to honing my craft, taking classes and attending summer programs, committing myself to performances within the community and at school, seeking out any and all opportunities to perform and showcase my work. It wasn’t always easy, but that moment on stage ignited a passion within me that has only grown stronger with time.
As I continued this path I have found myself singing with multiple bands, being in numerous musicals and plays, character performing and I even got my degree in Theatre Arts Performance from Long Beach State.
Looking back, I realize that moment was a turning point in my life. It gave me direction, purpose, and a sense of fulfillment that I’ve been chasing ever since. And who doesn’t love getting to play make believe professionally?

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
I am a SAG actress and singer with a passion for bringing magic to audiences of all ages. My journey began when I was just 6 years old, when I first stepped onto a stage in a musical and affirmed my love for performing. From then on, I was hooked!
Today, I offer a range of services, including character performances for parties and events, singing solo and in bands for all types of occasions and in concert, as well as acting in all forms. I specialize in creating immersive experiences for audiences, whether it’s through a beloved character in person or an original performance on screen. My goal is to inspire wonder, joy, and excitement in everyone I perform for and to showcase characters that people connect to. I want to bring a little bit of magic into peoples lives.
What sets me apart from others is my dedication to detail and my ability to connect with other creatives and audiences on a personal level. I take the time to understand my characters and tailor my performances to exceed their expectations by doing my homework and fully transforming into my characters. I go so far as even creating specific playlists for roles as a way of prep and making sure from head to toe I am bringing an authentic character to life.
I’m proud of the relationships I’ve built along the way and the joy I’ve brought to countless audiences. I love working with friends on passion projects and connecting with others on set. Anyone I’ve worked with will tell you that I am a hard worker who’s dedicated, always willing to learn and grow in order to become the best version of myself. I want to bring my authentic self to the table and make meaningful connections with other creatives to help bring their dreams to life.
If you’re looking for a performer who is professional, reliable, and dedicated to bringing magic to your event, show, film, or any other project, I’m your perfect choice. Let’s work together to create something truly special!

What’s a lesson you had to unlearn and what’s the backstory?
One of the lessons I’ve had to unlearn is the idea that there’s a ‘right’ way to achieve success in the creative industry. For a long time, I believed that I needed to follow a specific path- get an agent at a young age or you’ll never make it or a degree from a prestigious university, move to a big city, and work. I thought that if I didn’t follow this path, I would never be successful.
But as I journeyed through my career, I realized that this wasn’t true. I met people who had achieved great success without following the traditional path. I saw people who had dropped out of college and still made it big or people who had taken unconventional routes and still ended up where they wanted to be.
I learned that the right path for me is my own individual one that I carve myself. And the only thing that truly matters is following your heart and working hard. My degree in theatre gave me a strong foundation in technique and connected me with amazing people, but it’s not the only way to succeed. I’ve seen people who are self-taught, who have learned through experience and dedication, and who have achieved great things all on their own.
The most important thing I’ve learned is to trust myself and my own unique path. I don’t need to compare myself to others or try to fit into someone else’s mold. I can forge my own way, and that’s what makes me unique and valuable. I understand that everything happens for a reason and I can’t make a mistake! Even if something doesn’t go my way then it is a valuable learning lesson.
I hope to inspire others to do the same – to trust themselves, their talents, and their own paths. There’s no one ‘right’ way to do things, and that’s the beauty of it! We can all find our own way, and that’s what makes life so exciting.

What’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative in your experience?
For me, the most rewarding aspect of being an artist and creative is the ability to connect with others on a deeper level and make a positive impact on their lives. There’s no greater joy than knowing that my work has inspired someone, brought them joy, or helped them through a difficult time.
I believe that art has the power to transcend boundaries and speak directly to our souls. It is a form of human connection that we all crave. When I’m able to share my creativity with others, I feel like I’m sharing a part of myself, and that vulnerability is what creates a true connection.
Knowing that my work has made a
difference in someone’s life is what motivates me to keep creating. Trying to be an artist can be difficult at times and there’s a lot of rejection that comes with the industry. But no matter the season, busy or dry I always have a wonderful community that I’ve made over the years. We all continue to inspire and uplift one another and that’s been so rewarding. It’s a reminder to myself how we’re all connected, and that our talents and passions can be used to make a positive impact on the world.
As an artist, I feel grateful to be able to contribute to something bigger than myself, and to be a part of a community that values creativity, self-expression, and connection. It’s a truly rewarding feeling, and it’s what keeps me going every day.
