Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Natalie Corzo. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
NMC Jewels is my Florida-based accessories brand where I design and create small-batch jewelry, custom hats, and host interactive charm bar experiences that are all about making people feel special, celebrated, and stylish. What started as a jewelry line has grown into something so much bigger, a place where accessories meet connection.
Whether it’s a boutique pop-up, a hotel collaboration, or a private charm bar party, I love creating moments people will remember long after they’ve worn their piece.
My aesthetic blends that coastal cowgirl vibe with a city twist, versatile, sun-kissed, and playful. Every piece I make is customizable, turning it into more than just an accessory, it becomes a story, a keepsake, and a little piece of joy you can wear.
At the heart of it all, my mission is simple: spread love, one accessory at a time.
How’d you build such a strong reputation within your market?
I think what’s helped me build my reputation is staying true to my brand’s personality and creating genuine connections with people. I don’t just set up a booth or post a product, I show up, engage, and make every interaction feel personal. Whether it’s remembering a customer’s favorite charm, helping someone design a hat that tells their story, or collaborating with local businesses, I put intention into everything I do.
Consistency has been huge too, not just in showing up at pop-ups week after week, but in keeping my aesthetic, quality, and customer experience aligned no matter where people find me. I want every person who comes across NMC Jewels to feel the same warmth, excitement, and sense of fun, whether they meet me in person or online.
Most of all, I think people remember how you make them feel, and I’ve always made it a priority to create moments that are memorable and full of good energy. That’s what keeps people coming back, it’s not just the accessories, it’s the experience that comes with them.
Can you open up about a time when you had a really close call with the business?
Six months into running my business full-time I wasn’t sure if I’d make it another season. I had burned through my savings, counting on a strong summer to bring in more revenue, but summer in Florida means hurricanes and endless rain. Sales slowed, and the doubts came flooding in.
I remember thinking: What am I doing? I don’t know what I’m doing. I should’ve never quit my job.
That’s when “faith over fear” became more than just a nice saying. Fear was all I could feel, but faith was all I had to hold on to.
In that moment, I decided to apply for a part-time sales role at Nordstrom, where I had worked back in college. I was terrified of completely draining my savings in the next two months, and I needed something to keep me afloat.
Nordstrom called and I got the job.
The very next day, I received a message from someone with a large community who wanted to do an exclusive collaboration with my brand. That opportunity changed everything. It saved us. From that point on, doors kept opening.
It was my “I’m crazy, but maybe I’m crazy enough to make this work” moment.
