Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Natalie B. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Alright, Natalie thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. We’d love to go back in time and hear the story of how you came up with the name of your brand?
This question makes me smile…the name 2 Percent actually came about from an inside banter between my partner and I. We met almost ten (10) years ago, the meeting impossibly random and there was a 2% chance of us ever seeing or being in contact again. In numerology, the number 2 is associated with attributes like balance, duality, cooperation, partnerships and spiritually it is a symbol of service, trust, growth, learning and alignment. That 2%, became my inspiration and reality, a symbol and spark, my reason for the business name and my staple and belief for always going after my goals and dreams and anything that may appear impossible.
There is always a 2% chance of success, even if it appears improbable.
Naming the company “2 Percent Inc” is also a great conversation starter, as it is unique and memorable, and almost everyone I meet ask about the name and the reasons behind it, so it leaves an impression :)

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.
Ok, my full name is Natalie Balchan and I am the CEO/Founder and Co-Owner of 2 Percent Inc, a small business company that provides services (consulting, white labeling, etc) but mainly focuses on making the best all natural and luxurious skin and hair care products. All products are handmade to ensure top quality and to address the unique needs of our customers who want a more natural approach. We are striving to offer services and products that set new standards in the beauty, health and consulting services industry.
My journey began with a simple yet powerful observation; all my skin and hair care products contained some type of chemical that was harmful to me and which was highlighted when I entered a new career path many years ago. I started creating my own body butter from home and that inspired a passion to walk into a more natural path, taking better care of my skin and hair by creating my own products with natural ingredients that I knew would benefit but also work for me in numerous ways.
Our products are designed for all skin types, we understand that everyone’s skin and hair are unique, so we focused on creating products that cater to the diverse needs while ensuring safety and effectiveness. We are aiming to bridge the gap for more natural products that heal and not hurt.
What sets our company apart is our unwavering commitment to quality and customer satisfaction. We listen to our clients and continuously evolve to meet their needs in a challenging and competitive industry. Not to mention our products are really great and they work :)
One of the things I am most proud of is our growth as a small business company run by a very small team since our revamp about a year ago; and the positive impact we have had on our customers lives. Hearing the transformative results and the compliments from using our products is incredibly rewarding.
I am also very proud of our commitment to setting the bar on quality, never wavering and ensuring every ingredient is all natural and that it serves a purpose.
I invite everyone to explore our products and services and discover the difference when attention and love are poured into your passion and the commitment to providing a new way can make.
I invite you, potential customers, clients, followers, fans, anyone wanting to try a natural path, to 2 Percent Inc, where we “make skin smile” and the journey to your best self begins.

Learning and unlearning are both critical parts of growth – can you share a story of a time when you had to unlearn a lesson?
I had to unlearn the need to be in control of every aspect of the my life and also with the business.
In a world that often equates success with power and masculinity, the desire to maintain control over every aspect of our lives can be a deeply ingrained habit, especially as a woman, and especially when you were doing it alone for years. Whether is was at work, in my relationships, or in my own personal growth, the need to control the outcomes was a source of comfort for me.
I learned as I evolved, that it was also very limiting, trying to prevent the negative outcomes, always having to be self-reliant. It became a dance of me being more focused on managing life rather than living it in its entirety.
Unlearning that need began with the realization that letting go, letting others take control, doesn’t mean I am abandoning my responsibilities or allowing chaos to take over; rather, it involved embracing the natural flow of my life and recognizing that not everything is within my power to change. By accepting that uncertainty and the inevitability of constant change, I opened myself to new possibilities and experiences that I would have otherwise overlooked.
Life cannot be orchestrated, it can only be lived with a sense of ease, trust and flow. The best thing I ever learned from unlearning was to let go and trust the process. Allow life to unfold as it should.

Any advice for managing a team?
The best advice I received and which I would share came from my partner.
Celebrate the small wins!!!!
Create an environment where every team member feels valued, motivated and empowered to contribute their best and to continue doing so. Always acknowledge the hard work, the achievements and yes, even the small wins.
Trust the team by giving them autonomy in their roles, empower them to make decisions and create an environment where everyone feels respected, included and valued for their unique contributions.
And lastly, lead by example. Demonstrate the behavior, work ethic, commitment and attitude you expect to see and receive.
“Leadership is not a position or title, it is action and example”
