We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Natalia Zambrano, Angelo Almeida a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Natalia Zambrano, Angelo Almeida, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Let’s start with the story of your mission. What should we know?

Before discussing our company mission, it’s essential to understand that it stems from our personal mission. We firmly believe in leaving a positive impact on the world. Having deeply connected with human needs, we feel a responsibility to contribute to improving everyone’s quality of life. Therefore, our company mission is based on enhancing the quality of life of our customers, promoting the well-being of our employees, and protecting the environment through the use of natural products. Additionally, we support organizations that protect vulnerable animals, contributing to a more just and sustainable future.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.

More than three years ago, we founded Natural Home Clean with a clear vision: to transform the way people perceive cleaning. What sets us apart is our commitment to excellence and our attention to detail. Our team of highly trained technicians is dedicated to providing an exceptional cleaning experience in people’s homes. One year ago, Hygeia Building Solutions was born, expanding our offerings to meet the needs of our commercial clients. Our mission is to focus on solutions for the pain points of commercial clients who have clear and different needs.
Our priority is to build a community where everyone feels at home. We want our clients and employees to experience a deep sense of well-being. We believe that personal and professional growth go hand-in-hand. That’s why we constantly ask ourselves: How can we exceed our clients’ expectations? What new ideas can we implement to improve their lives? How can we contribute, even in a small way, to a more sustainable world?

Can you tell us about a time you’ve had to pivot?

During the first year and a half, we realized that Natural Home Clean wasn’t growing the way we wanted it to. We were building a company that required our constant presence and wouldn’t grow on its own. We also didn’t have the time to study what we wanted and thus grow our knowledge. Instead of staying stagnant, we decided to reinvent ourselves. We sold everything we had built and started from scratch, keeping only enough to cover our basic monthly living expenses. We invested our time and energy into learning the best practices for building a sustainable business in the long term. It was a difficult decision, as it meant leaving everything we had worked for and significantly reducing our monthly income, but we knew it was necessary to reach our full potential.

If you’re building a business, it’s important to remember that the path to success isn’t always linear. Sometimes, you have to take a step back to move two steps forward. Our story shows that perseverance and a willingness to learn are essential to achieving success.

Are there any books, videos or other content that you feel have meaningfully impacted your thinking?

Don’t get stuck. As an entrepreneur, your learning should never stop. Dive into books, courses, and seek mentors who inspire and guide you. Broaden your perspective and specialize in your industry to make better decisions and grow exponentially. Before delving deep into your sector, expand your vision with foundational books like ‘Think and Grow Rich’ and ‘Rich Dad, Poor Dad’. Then, specialize with more specific readings and find mentors who can guide you directly in your field. Angelo and I, at 22, have invested over twenty thousand dollars in knowledge alone, and every dollar has been worth it; knowledge is the catapult to success.
In this day and age, we’re fortunate to have tools like the internet that make it easy to connect with others. If you don’t enjoy reading books, I recommend listening to podcasts or audiobooks. There’s always a solution.
