We were lucky to catch up with Natalia Lopez recently and have shared our conversation below.
Natalia, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Coming up with the idea is so exciting, but then comes the hard part – executing. Too often the media ignores the execution part and goes from idea to success, skipping over the nitty, gritty details of executing in the early days. We think that’s a disservice both to the entrepreneurs who built something amazing as well as the public who isn’t getting a realistic picture of what it takes to succeed. So, we’d really appreciate if you could open up about your execution story – how did you go from idea to execution?
I went thru mental, emotional and financial crises back in 2018. At this time, I decided I needed to heal and search for support in order to break free from all the chaos. After going thru Therapy mentally, emotionally and spiritually. The idea clicked in my heart and Mind to create an organization where we had all areas to offer support.
Innata non profit was born October 2018. It all started in me, immediately in the month of November 2018, I was reminded how my son was admitted to the NICU and my first event occurred December 2018 at Broward hospital for all parents and children in NICU level 3 which is the one with more risk.
I had a desire to support, I not only had the idea in mi mind, but identified avenues in which I was able to relate personally to execute. Many times we get distracted waiting for the perfect scenario, I remember I had no money, but had friends that were committed to support me with the event and that is how it all started taking place. SHOUT OUT to Them ;)
Later in the year 2020, after dealing with my own traumas, I decided to become a life coach to support to support a generation that needs healing, we have a lot of unresolved issues that we carry and impart into new generations; to be honest the idea is to be a better generation and lately as we can clearly observe, we have been failing to do so as a society.

Natalia, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
I am Natalia Lopez, a woman who is passionate about communities, loves serving and genuinely cares about newer generations. Got into the research industry since 2010, not realizing Life was going to take my background in science and research to unify it with my passion for serving others.
The services we provided are for healing and from there we tackle other areas .
You may ask, how? thru teaching about the importance of having a life in order. Mental health, emotional intelligence, spiritual connection and financial literacy will allow you to break free from limitations and expand your capacities.
A personal example is that after working in my own personal healing, I was able to become emotionally, mental, spiritually and financially stable. This process was all about determination, courage and perseverance. We truly ask for commitment, if your desire is to grow and elevate then we are here every step of the way. At the end of the day is a personal choice, We can provide resources and support but the decision is individual, so we only work with those that truly are ready to take life to a new level.

Can you open up about how you funded your business?
My business was funded initially by me. I decided to work with intention, if I was going to have a 9AM to 5PM job Monday thru Friday, it was going to be with a goal in mind. So initially decided to save money and work to start innata.
For the first 3 years, I was not getting funded, but recently had the privilege to get support from Walmart and other small local grants. My idea is to grow and I have seen the results of not giving up and persevering

We often hear about learning lessons – but just as important is unlearning lessons. Have you ever had to unlearn a lesson?
Lessons learned as a business owner, believe in you and dont become comfortable . As you grow, you will part ways with what seems common and is perfectly fine. Growth requires separation, so do yourself a favor and learn to let go with a grateful heart.
I had to learn this as I started growing and all I can say is thank you to all the ones who crossed my path, but life took us in separate directions. Also, to the ideas and expectations I had in my mind, Life took me in a better route and all I have to say is Thank you. Life will shake you to train you and then elevate you.
