We were lucky to catch up with Natalia Johnson recently and have shared our conversation below.

Alright, Natalia thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Looking back, do you think you started your business at the right time? Do you wish you had started sooner or later

If I could go back in time, I wish I had started my travel business way sooner than two years ago!

I launched my business at a pivotal moment—juggling the demands of work, motherhood, a new relationship, and life. I was also finishing my master’s program, buying a home, and moving back to Texas from out of state. It was a whirlwind of responsibilities and changes all happening at once. Starting my business was a way to gain more control my debt, over my extra travel expenses, and it allowed me to earn more income to earn more, save more, & travel more. Starting my travel business gave me so much more freedoms
I did not know I was missing!

Had I started earlier, I would have reaped the benefits of residual income and the freedom to travel more much sooner. Additionally, it would have provided more flexibility during my relocation back to Texas and lessened the financial burden of buying a home.

Starting my business later definitely delayed the incredible opportunities and personal growth I’ve experienced so far. Looking back, an earlier start would have been ideal, but I’m grateful for the journey nonetheless and all the great things I know now that have led me to where I am today. I am just glad I stopped waiting to start and I started!

I’m Natalia aka “The Chateau of Beautie”! I am the owner of Chateau of Beautie, LLC. My journey into the travel industry began with the idea of creating a life filled with adventure and financial freedom that led me to take a leap of faith with a $200 investment, which has since transformed my life since 2022.

I am the travel business owner of the Chateau of Beautie Travel, where we believe: “Travel not to escape life, but to regain a beautiful life.” Me and my team specialize in providing tailored travel experiences that help clients explore the world while rediscovering the beauty in their lives. Our services include personalized travel planning, exclusive travel deals, and creating memorable travel itineraries. We focus on helping clients escape the routine, discover new destinations, and create unforgettable memories without breaking the bank. Many of our clients also book their travel themselves using our booking site because it is a one stop shop and lessons the burden of price shopping with everything in one place & we also help others start their own travel business too.

How did you build your audience on social media?

Building an audience on social media for Chateau of Beautie Travel is an every day journey of consistent effort and genuine engagement. I always try to share high-quality content that resonates with my brand’s motto: “Travel not to escape life, but to regain a beautiful life.” Posting stunning travel photos, sharing personal travel stories, clients travel, and offering valuable travel tips has all helped to attract followers who share a passion for travel and the travel business.

Engagement is also key. I respond to comments, participate in travel-related discussions, and I am working on future collaborations with influencers in the travel niche. Using relevant hashtags and geotagging popular destinations has also increased my visibility. I love data and numbers! Paying attention to built in dashboards on all of my social media platforms has been a game-changer!

For those just starting to build their social media presence, my advice is to stay authentic, post consistently, and engage actively with your audience. Understand your niche and tailor your content to what your followers find valuable and inspiring. Patience and persistence are crucial—building a loyal audience takes time, it won’t happen overnight and it’s a continuous effort, even when you go viral, you have to stay consistent. The genuine connections and network you make will be worth the effort.

What’s been the best source of new clients for you?

The best source of new clients for Chateau of Beautie Travel has been word-of-mouth referrals, network marketing, digital marketing, and social media engagement. Satisfied clients who share their positive experiences with friends and family, generally brings in new business. For that, I want to give a huge Thank You to every family member and/or friend that refers my business! Additionally, the active presence on social media platforms like Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok has attracted a significant number of new clients. I am building a strong offline & online community with a legacy business. My brand Chateau of Beautie, twill continuously bring in new clients for years to come this is only the beginning!
