Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Natali Garuccio. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Natali, appreciate you joining us today. Naming anything – including a business – is so hard. Right? What’s the story behind how you came up with the name of your brand?
The name Stella Fatalé came from a vision of transforming brides into their ultimate, most confident selves. I wanted a name that captured the feeling of stepping into your alter-ego—the best, boldest version of who you are. Stella, meaning star, felt perfect for the idea of a woman stepping into the spotlight, radiating beauty and confidence. But I also wanted to convey a certain edge, that powerful, sexy, feminine energy. That’s where Fatalé comes in, reflecting that sense of allure and unstoppable presence.
Together, Stella Fatalé represents more than just bridal hair; it’s about embodying that empowered, unapologetic woman you are inside—the one ready to take on her wedding day like it’s her red carpet moment. When our brides sit in the chair, they aren’t just getting their hair styled; they’re stepping into their Stella Fatalé alter-ego, becoming the most elevated version of themselves.

Natali, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
I’m Natali, the owner and lead stylist of Stella Fatalé. My journey into the bridal hair industry started unexpectedly, but in hindsight, it couldn’t be more aligned with who I am and what I love. I was working in a salon, and my boss wasn’t particularly interested in wedding clients or styling updos. So, naturally, she passed all those wedding jobs to me. At the same time, I was planning my own wedding and struggling to find modern, sexy, and sophisticated bridal hairstyles that felt fresh but still timeless. I saw a gap in the industry—many of the styles I came across felt cookie-cutter or outdated, and that’s when the spark for Stella Fatalé was born.
I realized I could bring something different to the bridal world—styles that were modern, fashion-forward, and personal. Today, Stella Fatalé offers not just hairstyling services, but a fully curated bridal hair experience. We specialize in creating show-stopping, red-carpet looks for brides who want to feel their most glamorous, confident, and sexy. I always say we don’t just style hair—we transform brides from their everyday selves into the elevated, Stella Fatalé version of themselves. It’s about giving them the confidence to walk into their wedding day feeling like they’re owning the room.
What sets us apart is our combination of personalized service and artistry. We create unique styles for each bride based on her vision, her vibe, and what makes her feel her best. Communication is a huge part of our process—I’m big on understanding exactly what the bride wants and making sure we’re on the same page from day one. My team and I are organized, detail-oriented, and committed to making the entire experience seamless.
We solve problems that brides don’t even realize they have until they’re knee-deep in wedding planning. From helping them create timelines for their wedding mornings to advising them on their pre-wedding beauty routines (I even offer a year-long beauty guide on our website), we make sure no detail is overlooked. We also cater to large bridal parties and destination weddings, with a team of highly skilled stylists who work together like clockwork.
I’m most proud of the connections we build with our clients. This business has given me the opportunity to be a part of such a personal and important moment in a woman’s life, and I take that responsibility seriously. It’s incredibly rewarding to see the transformation—from the moment a bride first reaches out, sometimes nervous or unsure, to the moment she looks in the mirror on her wedding day and sees herself, completely radiant.
For potential clients, I want them to know that Stella Fatalé is not just about hair. It’s about an experience—a luxury, elevated, and personalized journey to your most glamorous self. We believe in the power of beauty to make a woman feel unstoppable, and we’re here to deliver that confidence, one stunning hairstyle at a time.

Any advice for growing your clientele? What’s been most effective for you?
One of the most effective strategies for growing my clientele has been creating a personalized, high-touch experience for every bride I work with. Brides today are not just looking for a service—they’re looking for an experience that feels special, seamless, and tailored specifically to them. This approach has allowed Stella Fatalé to grow not only through word-of-mouth but also through strong personal connections that lead to glowing recommendations.
From the very first consultation, I focus on communication. I make it a priority to understand the bride’s vision, her personal style, and what will make her feel her most confident and beautiful on her wedding day. This level of personal connection creates trust and allows us to deliver a truly custom experience, which brides appreciate and remember. That, in turn, leads to those all-important testimonials and referrals that help our business grow.
A major factor in our growth has been aligning with the luxury market and offering a full-service experience tailored to the bride’s entire wedding journey. We don’t just show up on the wedding day—we guide our brides throughout their wedding beauty process, offering expert advice on everything from hair health to extensions. For brides interested in adding volume or length, we offer customized guidance on selecting and integrating high-quality hair extensions, ensuring they’re seamless, comfortable, and enhance their overall look.
We also make sure that we can accommodate the varied schedules of each individual wedding by offering full-service packages that cover all bridal events, from the engagement shoot to the rehearsal dinner, and of course, the wedding day itself. Whether it’s a destination wedding or a large bridal party with multiple stylists, we’re able to provide a luxury experience that ensures every event runs smoothly. This level of customization and attention to detail is what sets us apart, especially for brides who value a premium, stress-free experience.
Visibility has also been crucial. Instagram has been a powerful platform for us to showcase our work, with each post telling the story of a modern, fashion-forward bride. Brides often begin their wedding planning journey online, and having a strong, visually stunning portfolio attracts those who resonate with our aesthetic. We also extend our reach through collaborations with other wedding professionals—planners, photographers, and makeup artists—who share our commitment to delivering high-end, personalized service.
Lastly, offering resources like my free year-long beauty guide has been a great way to build relationships early. It positions Stella Fatalé as a trusted expert, guiding brides through their entire beauty preparation well before the wedding day arrives.
Ultimately, the most effective strategy has been staying true to our brand’s core values: offering a luxury, fully customized experience that makes every bride feel like the star of her wedding day. When you focus on quality, personal connection, and clear communication, your clientele grows organically through trust and loyalty.

Can you share a story from your journey that illustrates your resilience?
One of the most defining moments in my journey as a business owner was navigating through the challenges brought by COVID while balancing life as a mother of three. Before the pandemic, the business had its rhythm, and while it wasn’t easy, I had systems in place that worked. But like many small business owners, everything changed overnight. Weddings were postponed, rescheduled, or canceled, and the industry was turned upside down. I had to figure out how to adapt, not just to keep Stella Fatalé going, but to handle the uncertainty while also managing my family and my kids’ needs during such a difficult time.
The wedding industry came back in waves after COVID, and it forced me to pivot constantly as brides adjusted their plans. I had to remain flexible with my business approach, serving brides who were moving their dates or changing their wedding plans at the last minute. This meant reorganizing my entire schedule multiple times—on top of homeschooling and caring for my kids. Some weeks were pure chaos, but I stayed focused on what was important: continuing to deliver a high level of service and communication to my brides, even when my personal world was anything but stable.
Another challenge I faced was the rapid shift toward social media and digital self-promotion. Before COVID, social media wasn’t a huge focus for me. I was more interested in working directly with my brides than creating content, and the whole idea of constant self-promotion was something I wasn’t naturally drawn to. But suddenly, as the industry moved online, I had to step up. Competing with the younger generation of content creators was daunting, especially with a small business budget that didn’t allow for large-scale marketing or professional help. I had to learn, often through trial and error, how to create content, build engagement, and maintain visibility in a crowded digital space—all while running a business and taking care of my family.
It wasn’t easy, and I was often stretched thin. There were times when I questioned how I would keep up with it all—being a mother, running a business, managing social media, and keeping up with the ever-evolving expectations of the industry. But I stayed resilient by focusing on what I do best: delivering exceptional service to my brides and making personal connections with them. Word of mouth remained my strongest asset, and even though I was navigating a learning curve with social media, I kept the quality of my work consistent, which allowed my business to grow despite the challenges.
I’m proud of how far I’ve come, not just in business but in balancing it all while staying true to my values. Doing it all myself has been exhausting at times, but it has also made me more adaptable and resilient. I learned that, even without a huge marketing budget or a dedicated social media team, the heart of the business—serving my brides with care and professionalism—will always come through.
