We recently connected with Natalee Pryce and have shared our conversation below.
Natalee, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today One of the things we most admire about small businesses is their ability to diverge from the corporate/industry standard. Is there something that you or your brand do that differs from the industry standard? We’d love to hear about it as well as any stories you might have that illustrate how or why this difference matters.
What I do different from the fashion industry that I am into is I offer clothes that are Trendy and fashionable but modest.

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
My name is Natalee Pryce I grew up in the beautiful island of Jamaica.I migrated to the United States got married and start having children.I have been blessed with two handsome boys when I had my first son you will think a jeans and T-Shirt is the go to for him but I realized that when I dress him his style was different and unique than a everyday boy attire more than just a gift.
I was at church one night my Pastor called me out and said you will own a boutique,I did not have any entrepreneurial plans at all but with the word and the gift I saw with dressing my son ANJ Fashion Inspired was birthed April 2014.From there i continue to style my family and from styling them people would see and notice the uniqueness and I would gain clients from there.
I host quarterly fashion shows where I style ladies and young girls to convey to them that they don’t have to dress in a revealing manner to be trendy and appealing, these shows also help them to find their identity, boost their self esteem and feel overall good about themselves.ANJ continues to provide fashion consulting services to people I know and also the community.
If you are going to that main event and you need to stand out while on a budget ANJ will be the stylist you need to contact.
The thing that I am mostly proud of is my consistency throughout the years whether business was good or bad.
ANJ is currently online only for purchases you can also reach out to us on one of our social media platforms or email.

I mention how I host fashion shows quarterly for the first few years of hosting sometimes I have maybe 10 people the most that shows up, but I did not stop I would host as if it’s a lot of people in the building energy and drive was on high.I could have given up long time ago but I kept going and now when I host fashion shows and I have a full house I am happy I decide to keep going even when it feels discouraging.

We often hear about learning lessons – but just as important is unlearning lessons. Have you ever had to unlearn a lesson?
When I started my business you would think that everyone who knew you family and friends would support you and be happy that you are doing something for yourself but I had to unlearn that in business everyone is not your customer and it’s absolutely okay with who choose not to support you.Whatever you do you must keep going and be thankful for those who continue to support you.
