Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Nata Galati . We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Nata , thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. We’d love to hear the backstory behind a risk you’ve taken – whether big or small, walk us through what it was like and how it ultimately turned out.
I can’t imagine what my life would be like if I didn’t take risks, feel the pressure squeezing me tight and breath into the uncomfortable places that my gems are hidden under. I have always been a risk taker: a woman thinking, walking, talking and feeling outside of societal norms. The last big risk I took was one of the bravest ones I can remember, I left my 9-5 job, where I supported someone else’s dreams, visions and business…I left to build & support my own. This took an immense amount of trust in myself, trust that I had never had before. Here is my journey to living my truth, walking & paving my path & sharing my heart’s medicine balm with the world. in December 2022 I embarked on a pilgrimage to Portugal with a group of Like-Hearted Women. Besides being in classes online with them through the Sacred Woman’s School, I had never met any of them in person. We had no itinerary, knew nothing about where we were staying, what our day’s would be filled with, and what our accommodations at night would be like. The sole (SOUL) purpose of this gathering was to find comfort in the uncomfortable spaces, it was to SURRENDER to your highest and truest joy and if that didn’t seem doable, what was blocking you? So I went, reveling in the mystery of what life would be like once I arrived home in NYC.
Once home the surrender continued and not in the easiest of ways. My nights were sleepless, work began becoming more of a chore then a joy and I was uncomfortable in my own skin. I had been slowly building my business on my days off prior to Portugal but this left me with no free time to tend to my new found love and myself. What do I do? Will I be able to support myself financially without having a steady paycheck?. I had dedicated much of my mature life to my studies & passions yet was still learning to trust Myself, the greatest creator of my life, enough to take a leap of faith and walk MY walk. SURRENDER screamed my spirit- and I did. I risked my livelihood to follow my dreams.
That January I woke up one morning and rolled over in bed again without the smile i am famous for on my face.
My Fiancé held me and asked me a simple question- “When are you quitting your job to embark on building your business and living your dream”? he need not say more as the overwhelming freedom I felt when he said that said it all. I said, “Today”. January 19 2023 was my last day of working for someone for the rest of my life. I launched my business, NataVam, the following week and have never slept sounder, been happier and felt more successful in all of my days.
Nata , love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?

It is an honor and a pleasure to be in service to my Sisters, Indigenous Family and This Great Mother Earth!
Any stories or insights that might help us understand how you’ve built such a strong reputation?
I walk my walk and talk my talk. The healing “industry” is completely oversaturated and has become trendy to be a practitioner of. Everyone and their mom wants to be THE healer. One of the main focal points of my work is for my clients and community to learn what i have learned in order to be their own healer, heal their family and live full, juicy , fruitful lives. I am not the keeper of any of these tried and true traditional practices…I am just the bridge. I offer circles and community gatherings to teach what I have learned in my life to others so they may pass it on and on and on. Because of my authenticity, humor, joyful spirit and approach my new found family (clients) truly enjoy the time we spend together and find that the care and time I put into our sessions and after care is priceless.
Training and knowledge matter of course, but beyond that what do you think matters most in terms of succeeding in your field?
I believe community outreach and a heart centered approach has been the key to my success. Everyone who walks through my door receives the same care, consideration and love.
