Narmine, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Can you tell us about a time where you or your team really helped a customer get an amazing result?

Since I am a behavior and communication specialist, I had a CEO of a company reach out to me to help her and her team become more aware of their communication style. After she and her husband, who was the COO of their company, completed the behavioral assessment, I was asked to Coach the COO for 3 months to help better equip him with strategies to help in his communication with employees, as well as with his family. After our Coaching time, the CEO, wanted me to know that there was a complete shift with their communication, not only with their employees, but also with their personal family dynamics at home.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.

Narmine Kendall is a Maxwell Leadership Certified coach, speaker, and trainer. She offers a wide array of services ranging from workshops, seminars, keynote speaking, private and small group coaching, and classroom activities. As a former teacher, she has extensive experience working with students, teachers, administrators, and parents. With 26 years of teaching experience under her belt, she is enthusiastic to continue impacting students, but also moving beyond the classroom to help anyone in search of growth.

Through Visioneer Leadership, Narmine aims to make her impact. She utilizes behavioral analyst tools to help her, and her clients better understand their own personalities and motivations. This information is then paired with practical applications from the Maxwell Leadership programs and her own rich experience as an educator to further their development. Can you tell us about a time you’ve had to pivot?

As a 54-year young immigrant, my dream has always been to encourage and equip people for a greater purpose in their life, which I did through teaching at all levels, elementary through the college level. After 26 years of teaching, I found myself wanting to impact more people however, I did not know what that would like if I left the educational world that had defined me for all of my adult life. As I was sharing with my high school students of my upcoming retirement, they began to ask me what I would be doing next. I truly did not know at that point, but because I have a huge faith, I believed that my way would be made clear to me as I began to step out of my comfort zone. My students began telling me that they knew what I would be doing next; they said that they saw me becoming a motivational speaker and that I would be on T.V.
I believe that my students saw something in me that I did not see in myself at the time. I am thankful that their words have helped me step into that very role that they believed for me.

Let’s talk about resilience next – do you have a story you can share with us?

I have to say, 2023 was a very dry year for my business. I am a very optimistic person and truly had to find encouragement for myself, although nothing was happening during the year. I made $4,000 all year, although I knocked on door after door, served people, created opportunities for those in need to find hope and on and on I can go with all the ways I helped others in their journey. Although, it was extremely challenging, I continued to persevere and that resilience has paid off this year, in 2024. I am now doing several Coaching and Masterminds for large companies!
