We were lucky to catch up with Narea Kim recently and have shared our conversation below.
Narea, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today How did you learn to do what you do? Knowing what you know now, what could you have done to speed up your learning process? What skills do you think were most essential? What obstacles stood in the way of learning more?
Well, first things first, I had such an innate curiosity into the mystical realm as a child that I was drawn to it since I was 3 years old. I studied and read anything I could get my hands on to learn and have a better inner standing of who I am.
I sought out different masters to learn and I went wherever my heart led me. I have been in such a process my entire life learning to connect with the divine. I had to learn to listen to spirit and not think I was crazy or hearing voices – I had to get super grounded, and serious about listening to move forward. I studied a lot and worked with teachers to learn and develop my own style being innovative, creative and a pioneer in the mystic arts to bring forth my own expression.
I think I could have sped up my learning process a lot more – if I had two things – Guidance & Structure but growing up in foster homes (I did have some discipline), but mostly- I did not have that luxury, and had to learn by trial and error on how to implement balancing between being in reality & the spiritual realms. This became my invaluable lesson.
I think I probably stood in my own way being rebellious, & a bit of a maverick.. but of course we don’t know this wisdom until later on a we gather gems.
Narea, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
When I was 3 years old and going into my 3rd foster home – I felt this strong feeling that I had a “knowing” – it’s the only way I can describe it. I knew there was more to everything around me – I felt it in my being so strongly – of course I didn’t know what I knew – but the thing about me ..is I am adventurous, curious and very strong willed. I am a truth seeker always have been – as a child I would go down to a stream and push every rock over – because I wanted to see what was underneath – what was the creature, the color, the surprise. My instinct for pushing the envelope to know my soul is something I was born with. I think this is what sets me apart in that I have such a passion for people to thrive and become their best self. I am lucky enough to have watched this over & over with my clients. It is my gifts but also my reward.
I realize now that I learned all along how to cultivate my gifts – a lifetime process just like a singer, actor, painter, dancer time and training strengthens you. I have read, done sessions and continue to do so for hundreds of thousands of people. These people are from every walk of life. I have counseled people since 1999 to uplift, inspire, encourage, heal, help, pull them out of the dark, motivate, teach them of their own gifts and abilities through one of a kind tailored to each person session – to be cleared, empowered & assist to more embody more of their own divinity. Some of my clients have been with me 20 years or more. I use different modalities such as Astrology, Tarot, Mediumship I’m clairvoyant, clairaudient clairsentient, claircognizant, and I am an Energist which is not easy to explain as each session is personally tailored through spirit instructing me what is needed depending on what type of session they choose for themselves.
I was born to guide, wake and inspire. I born to be as creative & innovative as I can be for myself as well. I have read everyone in New York, Hollywood and across the globe – it doesn’t matter how much money you have – Our wealth is our Soul and if we extend from this point – money is never an issue because you will thrive in whatever you are here on earth to do. This is my gift I uncover & inspire and get t through to peoples soul’s like a laser beam. I save people years of therapy!
I am proud of so many things. I was a top athlete in middle school & high school. I’m proud Putting myself through Design School, landing a job at
Ralph Lauren learning so much about design, beauty & grace. Being named one of The Top 100 Psychic/Astrologers in America. Teaching myself Inner Alchemy to teach others. Learning and opening up to being a Medium. Being Innovative in creating courses that inspire me to teach. Reading and helping hundreds of thousands of clients thrive (no exaggeration on how many people I have worked with) Creating my own product line to continue to inspire my own creativity and aspire to be a better human always. I am proud in being strong enough to allow, listen to myself in honoring my sovereignty. I am proud of having the gifts of making spot on predictions for my clients 95 percent of the time, and working with them to move into their best life for who they are.
When you find your calling – your essence which finally so many people are opening up to – the world becomes a better place because people are living in their true essence, and true power – which has always been my mission with myself first then others.
Is there mission driving your creative journey?
While I do have so many incredible stories. My Mission – as I have to come to learn – is to inspire others to come deep into their abilities, and align with their true gifts – everyone has them, however like any treasure, you have to dive deep, as treasure gets buried, and it is a personal, sometimes grueling intuitive process – nothing can be rushed, energies have to be pinpointed, addressed, cleared, and then with all the creative space in someone’s spirit- it must be cultivated & worked with to continue the beauty and growth of one’s spirit.. This is really the true beauty of my work. Divinity has its own timing – once connected allowing things to unfold is also the gift.
What’s a lesson you had to unlearn and what’s the backstory?
The big lesson I had unlearn was that I wasn’t a victim, and that I was looking at my life all wrong – while I have always have been blessed with an incredible fighting spirit. It wasn’t easy to stay true to who I am with so many obstacles in my path both in the reality realm & mystical realm. Discernment is learned. I had to learn that I chose this life, and that I was accountable and responsible for myself. This was not an easy concept to grasp, while grabbling with fumbling & stumbling to learn your gifts and your way while being in survival mode as a child. I literally had one foot in reality and one foot in the spirit realm- both had to come together in balance if I was going to develop, and accomplish the work I am here to do. Growing up being handed over at birth into the system, feeling like you don’t belong, confused, alone, isolated, feeling different .. all allowed me to realize my strengths by overcoming what I viewed as my weaknesses. As humans this is all part of our journey and hearing so many stories where people allow me into their lives to guide them is a complete honor.
