Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Nanushka Photography. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Nanushka, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Do you manage your own social media?

I manage my own instagram account.

Nanushka, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?

I am a photographer who learned the basics-black and white film developing/printing while shooting for the Philadelphia Inquirer. We transitioned to color film and finally digital. My style tends to be more editorial with a flair for creative visuals.

Can you tell us about a time you’ve had to pivot?

I needed to put my newspaper photography career on hold in order to care for my ailing mother. It’s hard to re-establish myself especially in a new state. I’m from New Jersey.

Is there a particular goal or mission driving your creative journey?

My goal has always been to direct a film.
