Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Namya Greene. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Namya, appreciate you joining us today. Looking back at the decisions you made early in your career, particularly whether to join a firm or start your own, do you feel you made the right choice for that stage of your career?
I feel I made the right choice by joining a firm. As a new Real Estate Agent you have to work under a Broker. Since I was completely new to the industry I thought it was best that I partner with a small firm. I joined forces with the Broker that actually sold me and my sister our homes. I am the only person under her and I think it’s perfect. She is able to focus on me and I don’t feel the pressure of those big name firms.

Namya, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
I am a Realtor who believes that Home Ownership is for Everyone. My area of focus is Southern California but I will travel the state for you. I have lived and/or worked in cities from Santa Barbara to Murrieta.
I am a one-stop shop. Once you choose me as your Realtor I will give you all of the referrals for banks, inspectors, etc. I take the stress off of you allowing you to make a sound decision on your future property. My goal is to get you into a home or commercial building that you love.

Let’s talk about resilience next – do you have a story you can share with us?
I am a Wife, Mother of 3, and I work a Corporate job, I was still able to follow my dreams, study for my exam, and pursue real estate.
Have you ever had to pivot?
I am currently in a place where I am pivoting in my career. As my kids get older I feel like I need to be more present in their lives. They want to do more extracurricular activities and they have school events that I want to attend. Pivoting to be a full fledged Realtor will give me more freedom to create memories with my family that my corporate job does not always allow.
