We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Nadine Moore. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with nadine below.
Hi Nadine, thanks for joining us today. We’d love to have you retell us the story behind how you came up with the idea for your business, I think our audience would really enjoy hearing the backstory.
I wanted a food truck since I was 16 years old. When I was fired the day after coming back to work from having Covid in 2021 I decided I would never work for anyone again and follow my food truck dream!
Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
Birria Babe has blossomed from a small food truck traveling for 3 years across Nashville to a new restaurant inside cyanide cider! The journey of watching her grow has been thrilling and we cannot wait to take our truck back out this fall!
We’d love to hear a story of resilience from your journey.
There have been many challenges running a food truck. Some of the hardest moments were getting stuck on hills or our generators dying in centennial park. Despite our challenges we always pushed through to make our Birria Tacos!
Can you share a story from your journey that illustrates your resilience?
A food truck requires a lot of knowledge outside of what your average chef has to deal with. The hardest part for me was electric and plumbing. I had to figure out how to do both on my own.
