We were lucky to catch up with Nadine Gustin recently and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Nadine, thanks for joining us today. Let’s kick things off with your mission – what is it and what’s the story behind why it’s your mission?

In my line of work, the primary mission is to facilitate healing and foster a brighter perspective on life for my clients. My main clientele typically consists of individuals who have experienced grief or who are navigating through past traumas. They come to me seeking to break free from certain patterns and eliminate the blockages hindering their personal growth. My aim is to guide them through this transformative journey, providing the support and tools they need to embrace positive change and cultivate a more fulfilling life experience.

Let me share a bit of my own journey with you: Four years ago, I found myself facing the devastating reality of losing my husband in a tragic car accident. The shock and grief were overwhelming. I remember struggling to cope while still needing to be there for my children as a single parent. It was an incredibly tough time, one that tested every ounce of strength and determination within me.

Looking back, it’s almost surreal to think about the resilience I found in the depths of sorrow. I knew I had to keep going, if not for myself then for my children, who depended on me.

In the midst of my grief, I sought help from various sources—shadow coaches, mediums, and energy healers—all in pursuit of healing and understanding. Through their guidance and my own journey, I gradually began to piece myself back together.

Today, I stand before you as someone who has been profoundly impacted by trauma but has refused to let it define me. Instead, I’ve used my experiences to embark on a path of transformation and service. My journey from grief to empowerment has led me to a place where I can extend a hand to others walking similar paths, offering them hope, support, and the tools to navigate their own healing journeys.

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?

From a young age, I was interested in the metaphysical and mystical side of life. But despite my fascination, I kept my own spiritual gifts locked away, because of the overwhelming experiences my gifted mother shared with me. It wasn’t until my twenties that I felt the pull to explore Reiki, eventually became a Reiki Master.

I worked in the healing field for a little while, until life started to become busier, I married and had children. Life happened and priorities weren’t the same, so my Reiki practice was put on the backburner.

Fast forward a few years, when my husband passed away unexpectedly in car accident. I felt like I was propelled into a profound spiritual awakening. All of a sudden, I became interested again in everything metaphysical and spiritual. I started reading many books on different topics and started to interact with like-minded people in different groups. A pivotal reading by a renowned medium, who told me that I would be accessing my dormant abilities very soon, lead me to dive into various courses and teachings. With mentors like Psychic Detective Pam Coronado and Evidential Medium Tony Stockwell, I honed my psychic and mediumistic skills.

Today, I serve as a guide for those seeking spiritual connection and healing. I offer personalized intuitive, mediumship as well as Akashic Records readings that provide insight and comfort.

In addition to readings, I offers intuitive life coaching to help clients navigate life’s challenges.. Through tailored sessions, I empower individuals to tap into their inner wisdom and cultivate self-awareness.

Furthermore, I host development classes and workshops, providing a supportive environment for students to explore and expand their spiritual gifts. With my guidance, students gain confidence and proficiency in their practices.

Whether a client is seeking guidance, healing, or personal growth, I walk alongside them and with a deep respect for the spirit world and an unwavering commitment to service, I invite others to embark on a transformative journey of healing and self-discovery. All of my services are offered both online as well as in-person.

What’s been the best source of new clients for you?

The best source of new clients for me is worth of mouth. My clients tell their friends and family about my services and more often than not, I gain a new client from that. While I do have social media accounts like Facebook or Instagram, I am not very active on them.

Can you talk to us about how your side-hustle turned into something more.

When I first started honing my skills, I was still employed full-time in a corporate setting. I enjoyed my job and worked with an awesome team, but the more I dove into the spiritual field, the more it became apparent that that was were my path was going lead me. At first, I was seeing clients after hours or on weekends. But the more I experienced the healing and insights I was able to bring to my clients, the more I itched to let go of the corporate career and open my own spiritual business. But, the idea of leaving a comfortable job, with guaranteed wages, insurance and benefits scared me immensely. I remember waking up every day longing to let everything go and start anew, but fear was holding me back.
I had a lot of conversations with family, friends, my counselor and just like that, one day, I felt I was ready to take the plunge and just do it.
The day I quit my job was bittersweet. I was sad to leave my amazing team, but it was also incredibly freeing to be standing on my own 2 feet and going for my dream (and scary at the same time).
Today, I do not regret my decision in the slightest. In fact, it was the best decision that I have ever made. Being able to be a guide and support for others is truly what I am supposed to do. It fills me with so much joy and love to be able to help others around me. I am incredibly grateful for every day that I get to connect to spirit and bring forth valuable information to my clients or support them on their current journey and give them insights into how they too can attain the dreams and goals they have.
