Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Myesha Banks. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Myesha, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. Do you think your parents have had a meaningful impact on you and your journey?
Growing up in a household with a single parent and two siblings wad quite a task. My mom was a hardworking parent that displayed strength and hard work. I became a successful women because of what my parent showed me. She taught me to survive in this world without solely depending on her. My mom taught me discipline , staying focus and work hard at anything you do. Without the skills of what my mother displayed i would not be where i am right now !
As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?

What’s a lesson you had to unlearn and what’s the backstory?
The lesson I personally had to unlearned is rushing the process and feeling entitled. I believed growing up i wanted things to happen overnight. I believe my thought process was trained the improper way. Patience is what i had to learn and focus on. I believe now i realize i have to re-wire my mind to focus on the things that are currently in front of me. I think what caused me to be so impatient was not having the things i wanted or needed as a child. It cause me to want things obsessively.
If you could go back, would you choose the same profession, specialty, etc.?
If i could go back i would choose my business full time. I would choose my passion and dreams over a 9-5 occupation. I think if i had the push to be who ever i wanted in this world i would have been way further then i am now. Being forced to get a job when i was young basically distracted me from finding my passion much sooner. I am grateful that I received the opportunity to gain what i have , but i believe sometimes the way are taught and raised can delay the process of true success.
