With over 20 years of experience in the corporate world, I’ve worn many hats – from executive coach to motivational speaker, author to real estate agent, and founder of various impactful initiatives. My journey began with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, coupled with minors in Women’s Studies and Behavioral Analysis from the University of Houston Clear Lake. I continued my education with a focus on nonprofit management at the University of Houston Downtown.
Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of working with Fortune 500 companies, where I honed my skills in developing executives and leaders, crafting effective marketing strategies, driving organizational development, and implementing global projects. My approach is characterized by transparency, insightfulness, and a candid demeanor, aimed at empowering individuals to tap into their true potential.

Can you share a story from your journey that illustrates your resilience?
Certainly, I’d be happy to share a story that highlights my resilience.
Early in my career, I encountered a significant setback that tested my resilience and determination. I had been working tirelessly on a project for months, pouring my heart and soul into every aspect of it. However, despite my best efforts, the project faced unexpected challenges that threatened to derail its success.
As the obstacles mounted, doubts crept in, and I found myself questioning whether I had what it took to overcome them. I questioned being an entrepreneur. It would have been easy to throw in the towel and walk away, but something inside me refused to give up. Instead, I doubled down on my efforts, seeking out creative solutions and rallying my team to tackle the problems head-on.
In the face of adversity, I went to God for guidance. I refused to let setbacks define me or dictate the outcome. I drew upon my God, my resilience and inner strength to push through the toughest moments, never losing sight of the ultimate goal. It wasn’t easy, and there were times when it felt like the odds were stacked against me. But I refused to be deterred, knowing that every challenge was an opportunity to grow and learn.
In the end, our perseverance paid off, and we emerged from the ordeal stronger and more resilient than ever before. The experience taught me valuable lessons about resilience, perseverance, and the power of never giving up on your dreams. It’s a reminder that no matter how daunting the obstacles may seem, with God, determination and resilience, we have infinite possibilities.
Any stories or insights that might help us understand how you’ve built such a strong reputation?
Building a reputation within my market has been a culmination of several key factors.
One, expertise and experience. Years of dedicated work in my field have allowed me to develop a deep understanding of small businesses and nonprofit organizations, its challenges, and its opportunities. My expertise and experience serve as a foundation upon which my reputation is built.
Two, consistency and reliability. Consistently delivering high-quality work and reliable results has been instrumental in building trust and credibility within my market. Clients and peers know they can count on me to consistently deliver excellence.
Three, client Satisfaction. Prioritizing client satisfaction and going above and beyond to meet their needs has been crucial in building a positive reputation. Satisfied clients are not only repeat customers but also serve as ambassadors, spreading positive word-of-mouth referrals. I live by this.
Four, integrity and transparency. Operating with integrity and transparency has helped me earn the trust and respect of my peers and clients alike. Upholding ethical standards and being honest and upfront in all my dealings has been key to building a solid reputation.
Five, networking and relationship Building. Actively engaging in networking opportunities and building strong relationships with industry peers, clients, and stakeholders has helped me expand my reach and enhance my reputation within the market. Most of all, working in my community.
Six, continuous learning and adaptation. Staying abreast of industry trends, embracing new technologies, and continuously learning and adapting to changes in the market have been essential in maintaining relevance and credibility within my industry.
Overall, it’s been a combination of these factors, expertise, consistency, client satisfaction, integrity, networking, and continuous learning, that have helped me build a strong reputation within my market.
