We were lucky to catch up with MUTHA EARTH recently and have shared our conversation below.

Alright, MUTHA thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. What was it like going from idea to execution? Can you share some of the backstory and some of the major steps or milestones?

Truthfully I say with any business do something you truly love, because getting revenue sometimes is a challenge. I am still doing everything out of my pocket. I know that GOD gave me this dream and vision for a reason.. This is where faith, commitment and determination comes in. I had a huge following from 2018-2020 at the time 443k followers on Instagram that eventually got hacked and deleted, Yes I was very upset and hurt it took me 4 years to grow that massive following.Do you know how it feels to feel like you have lost everything you worked so hard in. I knew that GOD had a different plan for me, so I trusted and believed in GOD. I kept the ball moving starting over can be scary but sometimes it’s just GOD setting you up for something better. By me just starting over and still believing in my brand, showed me that I truly believed in my vision..I was also doing radio internships while I was in college getting my Audio Engineering Degree,Through that process I was working a 9 to 5 saving money and paying alot of money just to be heard on air, because I really loved talking with people… When I got my first celebrity guest, from Wildin Out which was Mope Williams he is a gifted comedy, than Tyler Chronicles becoming my second celebrity guest started up opening up more doors for me, I didn’t know that would be my starting point.. I begun drawing people attentions I also allowed anybody to come on and discuss topics on my show that were important… Till this day I’m still paying everything out of my pocket, praying GOD sends the right people that believe in my vision I have for the MUTHA EARTH SHOW. It’s amazing that GOD has been my connection, my source,my everything. I trust in GOD always, as of now 2022 I have built everything up where GOD needs me to be, I have lost but gained everything I need. I just pray for sponsorship and collaborations to help build my brand and television show.. That’s why it’s important you keep going, don’t give up, everything will happen in the right season trust in GOD.

MUTHA , before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?

What sets me apart from others I push through pain,fear, doubt and I trust GOD regardless of how the situation looks at the times.. When someone invites you out to an event, or they have things you can see your self supporting do it. People invest in you when they see you invest in yourself and others. Please put your personal life behind and go. I know things come about in our life’s, When I went through my transition of me battling in my health in a major way and losing things concerning my business left to right, I did not stop working I kept going, I prayed and kept going, You have to have faith as small as a mustard seed to keep going and pushing through.Being in the entertainment industry you don’t get alot of opportunities when they finally do arrive, could be your opportunity to get more clients,collaborations, and could be your next sponsorship for your company or brand. This is important and even tho I’m always looking for sponsorships, and collaborations always. I know that I am going to make it because I’m determined to keep going still even through failure. Yes I know life is a hard journey but it’s what we gain in our struggles that shape us into victory for our future….

Can you share a story from your journey that illustrates your resilience?

Alot of people know me by doing adult plus size modeling in the entertainment industry first, I got interested in adult modeling when I was in college and I needed extra money because I had a son and I was a single mother. I thank GOD my parents helped me when I needed help at times. It can become overwhelming and I started doing the Mutha Earth Show in Midtown Of Atlanta on the radio every Friday and Monday I was on Air. Paying alot of money to bring guest on my show and just to be heard on the radio, out of my pocket. I didn’t make it a career in Adult Modeling, because alot of things with adult modeling comes with alot of things you get tired of. I got an lot of exposure and a great following but people were putting me in a box.. I also didn’t like the disrespect that it came with and i started to experience people not having my heart at best interest,I had to cut off jealous friends and people that were around me because of who I knew. My relationships with guys I dated over the years, I was attracting was never right for me because they did not honor,protect, nor love or respect me, some were abusive some were too controlling, and plus I had a son. I was still trying to find me and figure myself out. But I could not see myself doing that for the rest of my life Adult modeling… GOD sat me down, because I started to lose a lot of things, my health was also being tested… GOD has kept me through it all, that’s why I strongly pray and know that the Mutha Earth Show will be all over the world oneday,all in GOD’S timing as long as I don’t give up and keep going. Along with my other gifts, writing music, movies,plays,and acting. I also have a degree in Audio Engineering, So I know GOD will guide me and allow me to share my gifts to the world…I just want GOD to use me that’s where I am at in my life.

We’d love to hear the story of how you built up your social media audience?

Well I used my looks GOD and my parents blessed me with laughing out loud. People always told me you would be a great plus size model and that I was built fine with curves, so I took that and used it.. But I regret it because I should of been more focused in my actual gifts I later discovered in myself. Make sure you start off with something that you actually can make a respectful career out of and one you can make a change and difference in the world… That’s why I have kind of settled in my life even tho I’m still young at 31 now, I’m just at the point I want GOD to use me and I want to focus more on creating my television show MUTHA EARTH and my other gifts im good in… When I was a adult plus size model, I always stayed in style, Your hair, your outfit, your makeup must always be up to date, along with what looked good on my body.. This is where I developed my social media presence. I was also very bold, I didn’t care what people thought about me. I had tough skin I been called every name in the book of sinners and more.. But I had tough skin I would laugh and say people judge by what they see first before judging someones character and they don’t know my heart and character. I would post Monday through Friday and never on weekends. I would post in the morning time and at night, those were the times people were engaging more between those hours and days for me on social media,so it worked.. I also set goals and targets. I would say by next month I want 50k followers on social media. Than I would see how far I reached and take it even further. I would than give myself every 5 months a number I wanted to reach, and achieved it. Think about the direction you want your platforms to grow. Set different targets and gather content ready for posting. This will give you a purpose and something always fresh and new to post. I would also mention brands, they would repost me, that gave me a nice following as well and Connections to other people on social media…
