We recently connected with Munique Miranda and have shared our conversation below.
Munique , looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. Let’s kick things off with your mission – what is it and what’s the story behind why it’s your mission?
My Journey: Fashion, Jewelry, and Purpose
I’ve always been a woman who loves fashion, creativity, and entrepreneurship in the fashion world. I’m also passionate about interior design and style. I’m a wife and a mother of three, one of whom is autistic and deaf.
Moving to the United States was a decision I made to give my family an even better life. I have deep appreciation for this country and its culture. But as a mother of an autistic child and three kids in total, the woman I once was—the one who loved fashion, who saw it as a personal and creative expression—became deeply immersed in motherhood and the atypical world. I even wanted to become the best therapist for my son.
One day, already living in the U.S., I asked myself: What could I do that truly connects with who I am? That’s when I realized—jewelry was it. Having owned a boutique in Brazil and always being passionate about fashion, I realized that jewelry had always been part of my life. My personal style has always been casual, but I love layering jewelry to add personality and confidence to my everyday looks—it has always been a way to elevate my self-esteem. I’ve always enjoyed taking care of myself.
That’s when I decided to start Love Silver 925 Jewelry, bringing silver jewelry that enhances women’s confidence and authenticity. As I continued my journey, I became increasingly fascinated by jewelry, and out of curiosity, I started designing my own pieces. This led me to rebrand my business as Monique Miranda Jewelry, because my brand is a reflection of who I am.
Even though I deeply loved my jewelry, my store, and the impact I had on women’s lives through my work, I knew something was still missing. My experience in the atypical world had shaped me, and I knew in my heart I had to do more. That’s why I created Embrace Gems—a project where a portion of all my sales is dedicated to supporting single mothers of autistic children. These women receive essential aid—medication, food, and other necessities—through trustworthy organizations.
Through my jewelry, I found a way to embrace a cause that is part of me. Embrace Gems gave me a sense of purpose, a sense of completion. It’s not just about offering timeless jewelry and boosting women’s confidence; it’s about standing side by side with those who live in vulnerable circumstances, dedicating their lives 24/7 to the ones they love most.
Now, they are not alone. And neither am I.
It’s not just about jewelry—it’s about Gems that support other Gems in every possible way.
Munique , love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
A Journey of Passion, Purpose, and Empowerment
I’m Munique Miranda, a 40-year-old entrepreneur, wife, and mother of three amazing boys—ages 24, 13, and 12. I was born and raised in Brazil, and my love for fashion, style, and interior design has been part of me for as long as I can remember. Creativity is my true passion, and entrepreneurship allows me to connect with people—something I deeply cherish. Relationships are at the heart of everything I do.
I became a mother at 17, which made me mature quickly and taught me early on about unconditional love—the kind that shapes you in profound ways. Later, God entrusted me with a son with special needs, and that’s when I learned that love is not just unconditional—it’s also sacrificial. My youngest son is another beautiful blessing in my life, completing our family. As a Christian, I believe that principles and values guide us toward incredible things in life.
I moved to this amazing country to give my family an even better future, and I’m grateful every day for the opportunities, the culture, and the incredible people I’ve met here.
Jewelry has brought me a kind of power I never expected—the power to create something truly enchanting for people in a unique and special way. But beyond the beauty of jewelry, my journey led me to create Embrace Gems, a project that allows me to support single mothers raising autistic children. These women carry an unimaginable weight, raising their children alone, without the support they deserve. To me, they are precious gems, and through my business, I’ve found a way to uplift and support them.
Today, I see that all women are like gemstones—strong, valuable, and capable of supporting one another. My business is more than just jewelry. It’s about love, stories, and giving back.
Let’s talk about resilience next – do you have a story you can share with us?
I started my business in the simplest way possible—literally selling on the beach. It was one of the biggest sacrifices I made, believing in myself, my work, and most importantly, the story that jewelry carries in people’s lives. I began by selling only 925 sterling silver, and it has been a journey of learning, meeting incredible people, and staying persistent every step of the way.
What’s a lesson you had to unlearn and what’s the backstory?
I’ve learned that no step we take and no phase of our journey is ever in vain. In reality, we need to go through each one because life is like a puzzle—every piece connects to the next, leading us to where we’re meant to be. Every process was necessary, and every person I met was exactly the right person for that moment in my journey.
