Hi Muhamed, thanks for joining us today. We’d love to hear about when you first realized that you wanted to pursue a creative path professionally.

When I started high school, I realized that in the future I wanted to do something related to art.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.

I have been interested in everything related to fashion for a long time. In the future (after I finish high school) I want to work professionally in fashion. I want to be a fashion designer, and I already have my own brand called “BEGOVIĆ”. On my instagram page from the brand you can see what I make and what my designs are. Instagram profile of my brand: @begovic_.brand The reason why I want to be a fashion designer is that I simply find myself in it. If you are wondering where my desire to work in fashion came from, I can tell you that my mother has a small influence in this, who designs her own things in her free time, which constantly inspires me.

Do you think there is something that non-creatives might struggle to understand about your journey as a creative? Maybe you can shed some light?

There are always those “non-creatives” people who won’t understand something or who won’t like something, and that’s perfectly fine. We must know that each person has his own opinion and has the full right to express that same opinion publicly. It is up to us whether their opinion will bother us or not. If you ask me, it’s always good to know what people who support you in what you do and who don’t support you in what you do think, because that way you’ll be able to know what certain people don’t like and you can fix it for the better. Of course, there are people who will tell you honestly that they don’t like something you do with the good intention of helping you fix it, but there are also those people who don’t want you at all and don’t think well of everything you do, those people will never love you and will never be honest with you no matter what you do. We must know that there are good people who will honestly tell us whether they like or dislike what we do, and that there are people who are, in most cases, jealous of our own success, and because of that jealousy, they will not like anything we do.

We’d love to hear the story of how you built up your social media audience?

I wouldn’t really say that I have the best advice on how to have an influence on social networks, because I’m not so famous that I could give really good advice. But let’s say what helps me to reach a larger number of people (audience) is that I am often active on social networks and that I often publish new posts. And to be honest, today the best way to succeed in what you want is to constantly promote yourself on social networks. It is one of the easiest ways if someone wants to be famous and influential or for your brand to be famous.
