We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Mr. Nofelonies a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
MR. NOFELONIES , looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. Let’s start with the story of your mission. What should we know?
NoFelonies, where we teach 7th-12th graders the importance of Avoiding a felony as a teenager. What you do as a teen can have a powerful impact on your life. You only get one life! ain’t no remix on it! Make smart decisions and stay out of trouble! Saving one kid at a time!

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
I myself grew up without a dad never knowing him. I got into trouble at a very young age and wound up getting a felony on my record, but I’ve changed my life entirely around. I I own two businesses I have a clothing line which is no felonies and I started nofelonies in hopes to help teenagers 7th-12th grade to stay on the right path stay out of trouble and avoid the path that I went down. All I’m trying to do is save one kid at a time!

Can you share a story from your journey that illustrates your resilience?
Growing up we didn’t have much, without having a dad in my life didn’t make it easier. As a kid I got into a lot of trouble lending me in jail and landed me getting a felony at the age of 17. Once I got out I promised my mother that I would change my life around and make her proud. I went to work for a company and once I mastered everything I started my own business and have been in business for myself ever since through my journey I came up with the idea of no felonies to help kids stay out of trouble not wanting them to go down the path that I went down so my mission my focus my goal is to save one kid at a time to avoid the pitfalls of a felony on their record my ultimate goal is to go around the different schools around the world and around the country and speak to kids letting me know how detrimental a felony can be on your record
Can you tell us about a time you’ve had to pivot?
When I started working for this company I have visions of starting my own business just like that company and once I mastered everything I said to myself I’m going to leave this company and start my own business fearless as can be that’s what I did but once I first started it I was working at an AutoZone part-time so I was still bringing money into the AutoZone but I also was working on the business so I would get paid take $100 out of my paycheck put it in the bank for the business once I got once I saved about $2,000 I stopped working at the AutoZone and went into business full time it was the best decision I could have ever made when I first started out I had hurdles to the point where I had to get another job and work part-time because it took a while for the business to grow once the business started to grow I quit the job and never look back it was the best decision that I’ve ever made in my life. working for myself has allowed myself financial freedom to explore my mind for bigger and better goals that I had set for myself, one which was “NOFELONIES”starting this clothing line for kids. I Also have a YouTube channel devoted to the kids, giving them positivity and inspiration letting them know that they can be anything that they want to be in life, if they just stay focused and determined. I have dedicated my life to NOFELONIES helping these 7-12th graders stay out of trouble! And stay on the right path. You only get one life! ain’t no remix on it! saving one kid at a time!
